Each year, Expo Transporte ANPACT transforms Guadalajara into a meeting point for carriers, manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers from across Mexico and abroad for three days. This activity extends beyond the exhibition floor, reaching hotels, restaurants, and other services connected to the city’s transportation industry.
The challenge will be to surpass the record-breaking results achieved in 2025. Although the goals for visitors, exhibitors, and economic impact remain at similar levels for 2027, the focus will be on expanding the event’s reach through new content, innovation, and business opportunities.
The expectation was announced during the formal launch of Expo Transporte ANPACT 2027 , which will take place from November 10 to 12, 2027 at Expo Guadalajara , following the results obtained in the 2025 edition.
Rogelio Arzate, executive president of the National Association of Bus, Truck and Tractor-Trailer Producers (ANPACT) , highlighted that the next edition will seek to be a space to turn the transformations that the road transport sector faces into opportunities for the industry.
“It will be an exhibition of vehicles, engines, components, technology and services, but it will also be a great space for innovation, decisions and of course business,” he said.
This activity will also have an impact beyond the fairgrounds. The arrival of international visitors, exhibitors, and participants will increase the demand for services related to the meetings industry in Guadalajara, where economic expectations for 2027 aim to maintain the level achieved in the previous edition.
“We are going to reach one billion pesos in economic impact for the first time in just three days,” said Gustavo Stauffer, general director of the Guadalajara Visitors and Conventions Bureau.
However, that figure had already been reached in 2025. According to the results shared from Expo Transporte ANPACT 2025, the event then reached an economic impact of one billion pesos, an amount that is again being considered as a reference for 2027.
The expected impact will also extend to the hotel industry. Mark Christianson Figueroa , president of the Jalisco Hotel Association , estimated a revenue of over 150 million pesos solely from lodging during the days of the exhibition.
In the 2025 edition, hotel occupancy exceeded 92% during the Expo Transporte days, while for 2027 the expectation is to reach similar or even higher levels.
An Expo that demands more space
The growth projected for 2027 will also be reflected in the size of the event. The National Association of Bus, Truck and Tractor-Trailer Manufacturers (ANPACT) projects receiving more than 70,000 visitors , with more than 660 exhibiting brands and international participants from 35 countries , in addition to attendees from all 32 states of the country.
Based on data from ANPACT, Expo Transporte ANPACT 2025 resulted in 60,000 visitors, 500 participating brands, 70,000 square meters of exhibition space, and an economic impact of one billion pesos.
Given this expectation, the exhibition area will use the same 70,000 square meters , and it is planned to use the outdoor area of Expo Guadalajara again, located across Avenida De las Rosas.
“We no longer fit inside Expo Guadalajara,” it was noted during the press conference, explaining that they are also keeping a close eye on future expansions of the venue to meet the demand for space.
The strategy is based on the results of 2025, an edition that was highlighted by the organizers as the largest held to date, both in terms of the number of visitors and international presence.
The continued presence of Expo Transporte in Guadalajara also coincides with the growth of logistics activity in Jalisco. Mauro Garza, general strategic coordinator of the state’s Development and Growth Cabinet, highlighted that this year more than 800,000 square meters of industrial buildings are under construction , 60% of which will be dedicated to distribution and logistics centers.
For the 2027 edition, ANPACT also seeks to expand the scope of the meeting towards training and professionalization with the launch of Expo Transporte ANPACT Academy , an initiative through which best practices and knowledge will be shared with universities, technological institutes and students.
This will be complemented by an agenda focused on artificial intelligence and new technologies applied to road transport, as well as the ANPACT Innovation Award and recognition for the sustainable stand.
The goal is for Expo Transporte to continue as a space for the exhibition of vehicles, engines, components, technology and services, but also for the generation of business, alliances and knowledge around the transformations that the road transport sector is facing.
