PACCAR Mexico recognizes the best technicians in its dealer network

More than 300 specialists participated in a selection process that tested their knowledge in the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles.

Training and specialization of technical personnel are fundamental to maintaining the availability of freight transport units. Based on this premise, PACCAR Mexico held the 2026 National Master Technicians Competition, recognizing the most outstanding specialists in its Kenworth DAF dealer network .

The meeting took place on October 21 and 22 at the Kenworth DAF facilities in the Center, Comanjilla headquarters, and brought together 15 finalists selected from more than 300 technicians registered nationwide .

To reach the final stage, the participants overcame three elimination stages in which they demonstrated their knowledge and skills, until the five best competitors in each of the categories were defined: Kenworth, DAF and PACCAR MX-13 Motor .

For a day and a half, the finalists faced theoretical and practical assessments focused on diagnosis, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting, through exercises that replicated real customer service situations.

The competition aimed to strengthen the specialists’ preparation, promote best service practices, and recognize their contribution to the technical support offered by the company’s dealer network.

In this regard, Eduardo Dávila, Director of Service and Training for Dealers at PACCAR Mexico, highlighted the importance of developing the capabilities of the personnel responsible for keeping the units in operation.

“Ongoing training and the development of technical talent are fundamental to maintaining the highest service standards across our dealer network. This competition recognizes the commitment, preparedness, and passion of our technicians, who represent the first line of service for our customers and are key to keeping their vehicles operating at peak performance,” he stated.

The event was also led by Daniel León, Manager of Training and Development of Dealers, along with the National Management of Planning and Service Development.

It also included the participation of six suppliers who collaborated in the development of the tests: Cummins, Eaton, Bendix, Fleetguard, Horton and TRP Lubricants.

With this initiative, PACCAR Mexico seeks to strengthen the continuous training of its technical staff, a relevant element to meet the maintenance and repair needs of Kenworth and DAF vehicles operating in the country.
