During the period, agricultural and forestry raw materials for industry, and waste materials was the wholesale activity subsector that showed the best performance in terms of income from supplies, with a positive variation of 21.8% compared to May 2025. Meanwhile, wholesale trade intermediation was the activity with the largest drop in the cycle, with an annual decline of 20.2 percent.
The subsector with the highest revenue in retail was exclusively through the internet and printed catalogs, television, and similar channels, at 12 percent. Healthcare products saw the largest decline, with an annual drop of 7.7 percent.
The mixed results of Mexican commercial sector revenues last May show a slight recovery in household spending in the country, although with some caution, as uncertainty persists due to a slowing Mexican economy.
