
During its Board of Directors session, the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States (Concamin) appointed Miguel Ángel Bres García as president of the Security Commission.
Bres García has over 35 years of experience in freight transportation, logistics, and corporate governance. He is currently Vice President for the Bajío Region of the National Chamber of Freight Transportation (Canacar) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of B&G Capital Group, whose portfolio includes TDR Transportes , CFS Servicios Financieros, CONVOY 360, INTRA RH, MPV 360, and VESLO.
In his new role at Concamin, he will incorporate his experience in the trucking industry into the analysis of the risks facing the industry and the strengthening of security in supply chains.
The appointment was made prior to the Concamin Board of Directors meeting, headed by its president, Alejandro Malagón Barragán , and the general secretary, Eduardo Ramírez Leal , during the presentation of the reports and the update of the working committees.
During the session , reports from the working committees were also presented, with the participation of Virginia Olalde López-Gavito, president of the Transportation Committee ; Judith Garza, of Foreign Trade ; Eduardo Ocampo Bautista, of the Labor, Social Security and Human Resources Committee ; Juan Díaz Mazadiego, of Regulatory Improvement ; Mónica Barrera Vara, of Sustainability and Climate Change ; and Carlos Medina Rodríguez, of Housing .
The Concamin Security Commission serves as a coordinating body for business chambers, authorities, and specialized organizations to identify risks, promote best practices, and strengthen the institutional response to the challenges facing the national industry. With the arrival of Bres García, the trucking sector will have a direct role in defining this agenda.
