PACCAR Mexico celebrated the “PACCAR Experience” event , an initiative in which 80 attendees, including customers and dealers, participated in a tour of PACCAR’s technological development and innovation facilities in Washington , United States.
The participants visited key facilities in PACCAR’s value chain. The first part of the tour was at the Kenworth manufacturing plant in Renton , dedicated to the production of the W900 Legacy model and focused on highly specialized models, such as those used in mining and petrochemicals .
The second part of the tour was at the Technological Innovation Center, where new technologies, systems and applications are developed for Kenworth, DAF and Peterbilt trucks and tractors , and which is also one of the key facilities for the company.
To conclude the tour of Renton, the customers visited the PACCAR Distribution Center, which has an inventory of over 25,000 parts , and processes and ships an average of more than 6,000 orders daily to the Northwest United States and Canada.
On the second day of the tour, the group visited the PACCAR Technical Center (PTC) in Mt. Vernon, Washington. At the facility, dedicated to research and quality testing, the attendees toured the tracks designed to validate the performance, durability, and safety of PACCAR products .
The event ended with a day at the PTC test track, where guests were able to operate various truck models, experiencing their power , even with simulated loads.
The PACCAR Experience , held from October 21 to 24, offered a close-up look at the innovation and technology that position the company as a leader in transportation . The facilities, from the Kenworth plant to the Technical Center, highlight PACCAR’s commitment to quality and a vision for a sustainable and efficient future.
