Since the beginning of this year, the Santiago Plant of Daimler Truck Mexico has been under the strategic leadership of Jorge Verástegui, who assumed the position of General Manager.
This plant, located in Santiago Tianguistengo and recognized for reaching the production of its 700,000th unit last year, has been distinguished by its commitment to operational excellence and innovation in vehicle manufacturing.
Jorge Verástegui, a prominent professional with over 15 years of experience at Daimler Truck Mexico, has ascended through multiple positions within the company, serving in key roles including production supervisor, manager in various assembly areas, and production director.
“This new challenge grants me the privilege and opportunity to accompany this great team on the path of operational excellence with the goal of upholding the name of our Santiago Plant through the quality of our products, the efficiency of our processes, and our closeness with our community,” expressed Verástegui.
It is worth noting that Jorge Verástegui was one of the members of the “21 Jóvenes de T21” in its 2018 edition, standing out as one of the executives who, from their positions, are shaping the direction taken by the organizations they represent in terms of transportation and logistics.
Under his leadership, the plant has focused on optimizing results through continuous improvement activities aligned with Daimler Truck’s strategic objectives. This strategic focus has helped strengthen the plant’s competitiveness and consolidate its position as a benchmark in the automotive industry.
