However, ATTRAPI highlighted that, as a result of actions taken in railway security, reports of railway robbery decreased by 6.8% in 2025 compared to 2024 .

He specified that from January to December 2025, four thousand 002 theft reports were filed compared to the four thousand 298 filed in the same period.

The industrial products group accounted for 79.10% of the total theft reports, followed by agricultural products, with 18.31 percent.

Regarding product or cargo theft, the most affected subgroups during the period were:

  • Other industrial products, with 21.04% of the total reports.
  • Consumer goods, with 17.22 percent.
  • Auto parts, with 16.83 percent.
  • Grains, seeds and their derivatives, with 13.48 percent.
