In the first quarter of 2026, vehicle production in Mexico totaled 969,294 units, representing a 0.5% increase compared to the previous year. During the same period, domestic market sales reached 381,632 vehicles, a 3.7% increase compared to 2025. This latter figure includes both domestic production and imports .
In response to this constantly growing market, Zinergia (number 6 in the Top 100 of Automotive Transport®) announced the launch of 53 Automotriz , a new business division of the automotive conglomerate, focused on the market for transporting finished vehicles in Mexico , both locally manufactured and imported through borders and seaports.

“This is a strategic evolution of Fletes 53, our division focused on the automotive segment, with the goal of offering more personalized and efficient service; this is the origin of the segmentation of this business unit,” commented Diego Cavazos, director of 53 Automotriz.
In this way, Fletes 53 will maintain its general cargo solutions through a robust fleet of 53-foot boxes , to serve the logistics of the automotive industry, both terminal and for its after-sales networks.

“ 53 Automotriz emerges as the new brand focused 100% on the movement of finished vehicles through car carriers , exclusively serving the automotive supply chains,” Cavazos highlighted.
Zinergia’s strategy is designed to address the dynamism of today’s market, with a solid value proposition, guaranteeing a total focus with operational teams, customer service and administrative support dedicated exclusively to the protocols of the automotive industry and in particular the car carrier market.

This new business structure will also allow 53 Automotriz to have better process optimization , with greater agility in yard management and vehicle logistics.
“Additionally, this will allow us to achieve sustained growth as a company, where Fletes 53 can maintain steady growth focused on the needs of the general cargo market with dry vans. Meanwhile, 53 Automotriz can be an ally in the expansions and growth of automakers that sell vehicles in Mexico,” stated Diego Cavazos.
Recently, at the launch of the new Lohr C3R3 car carrier model , one of the 53 Automotriz teams was presented, which is aligned with the company’s vision of offering the best service standards by incorporating state-of-the-art infrastructure.
