After more than a year of the DAF brand’s presence in Mexico, PACCAR Mexico announced the appointment of Jorge Álvaro Cañedo Taddei as the new DAF Sales Director for Mexico and Latin America .
In a statement, Alejandro Novoa, general manager of PACCAR Mexico, announced that in this new assignment, Cañedo Taddei will relocate to Mexico City , where he will assume responsibility for leading the marketing strategy for DAF units in Mexico and Latin America. In his new role, he will report directly to Tonathiu Venegas, which will strengthen the brand’s growth in the region.
Jorge Cañedo is a certified public accountant who graduated from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) and has over 26 years of experience with PACCAR Mexico .
During his career at PACCAR, he has held various positions, including Regional Credit Manager, PFM Area Manager (PACCAR Financial Mexico), and PFM Dealer Credit Manager. For the past 11 years, he has served as Sales Director for Latin America, the last seven of which have been based in Santiago, Chile.
In this new position, Jorge Cañedo will report directly to Tonathiu Venegas , thus strengthening the company’s commercial strategy in the region.
