
Swiss WorldCargo will be part of the Lufthansa Cargo – United Cargo partnership , offering cargo customers more flexibility and transport options through direct connections to and from Europe across the Atlantic.
This alliance will be formalized starting August 1st , further strengthening the partnership with enhanced connectivity, coordinated services, and a seamless charging experience across the transatlantic network.
“This agreement marks an important milestone in strengthening our collaboration, expanding our global network, and offering our customers greater flexibility and connectivity. By joining this partnership, we reaffirm our commitment to providing high-quality, reliable, and efficient air cargo solutions worldwide,” said Alain Chisari, Head of Swiss WorldCargo.

Under the expanded joint trade agreement, the three airlines will work closely together on the aforementioned issues. They will also cooperate on cargo traffic between more than 200 destinations in the United States and Europe.
“This expanded commercial agreement offers customers benefits, particularly from an even denser network and more fluid booking options, ensuring greater flexibility and reliability for their shipments. The combined synergies further improve service quality and represent a step toward sustainable growth in a volatile and highly competitive market for Lufthansa Cargo and its partners,” said Ashwin Bhat, CEO of Lufthansa Cargo.
For his part, Jan Krems, president of United Cargo, explained that by integrating schedules, aligning handling processes, and optimizing booking and tracking systems , “we are creating a more seamless experience for our customers, offering greater capacity, more consistent service, and improved access in key markets. This partnership strengthens our ability to meet growing demand and offer smarter, more efficient solutions across the entire air cargo supply chain.”
