Income in the storage services subsector amounted to nine thousand 608 million pesos (mdp) during March 2025, which represented an increase of 3.41% compared to last February, when it was nine thousand 291 mdp , according to the Statistics of the Manufacturing, Maquiladora and Export Services Industry Program (IMMEX) , prepared by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi) .
According to the report, in the third month of the year there were 236 establishments registered in this subsector, and the personnel employedwas 15,511 , which represented an increase of 0.40% compared to February 2025.
Meanwhile, the hours worked during the aforementioned period totaled 2,778 , and the average wages of workers in this subsector, who were hired directly by the company, were approximately 29,185 pesos per person.
Overall, in March 2025, and with seasonally adjusted figures, the number of employees employed in establishments covered by the IMMEX program fell 0.1% monthly. By type of establishment, it fell 0.2% in manufacturing establishments , and it increased 0.7% in non-manufacturing establishments (associated with activities related to agriculture, fishing, commerce, and services).
Hours worked decreased 0.8% monthly. In manufacturing establishments, they fell 1%, and in non-manufacturing establishments, they increased 0.7% in the third month of the year.
During the period, average real wages paid to personnel directly hired by establishments with the IMMEX program—monthly pesos per person, deflated by the National Consumer Price Index (INPC)—decreased 0.6% compared to the previous month.
According to Inegi, in March 2025 there were 6,525 establishments registered in the IMMEX program , of which 5,212 were manufacturing activities and 1,313 were activities related to agriculture, fishing, commerce and services.
By state, Baja California had the largest number of establishments, accounting for 17.7% of the total. Nuevo León followed with 13.6% and Chihuahua with 9.1%.
