The trucking industry faces constant challenges in the aftermarket, from market evolution to the need to offer more agile and efficient solutions for fleets and operators.
Six months after assuming her role as Director of Aftersales at Daimler Truck Mexico , Perla Verdi spoke with T21 about the main challenges the sector has faced and how the company has overcome them.
“The market is very dynamic and challenging,” Verdi said first, as he explained that one of the biggest challenges for after-sales is the dynamic nature of the market and the changing demands of customers, primarily transporters and fleet operators.
He commented that the most important thing is to provide security and confidence to customers, and to work hand in hand with the distributor network.

He emphasized that understanding the needs of carriers and being close to them has been essential to overcoming challenges, variations, and uncertainties.
To improve the customer experience , the company has focused on faster and more efficient processes that allow carriers to keep their vehicles moving.
Verdi emphasized that, in addition to improving efficiency, the goal is to strengthen relationships with business partners to continue offering innovative solutions that optimize cargo and passenger transportation operations .
“It’s very important for us to reward our business partners because, of course, they improve their quality every year, they also improve their customer service, and above all, we’re improving our collaboration to ensure our customers have tailored and innovative solutions,” he said.
He explained that Daimler Truck Mexico is committed to continuous improvement in after-sales service in the trucking industry, ensuring constantly evolving customer service and solutions.
