
In the January-November 2025 cycle, the General Directorate of Federal Motor Transport (DGAF) registered 21,443 trailers and semi-trailers , of which 93% corresponded to the Federal Public Service (SPF) and the rest to private transport.
The towing equipment segment, as well as motor vehicles, showed a contraction during 2025, based on DGAF data, while in the accumulated January – November 2025 there was a contraction of 38.6% compared to the registration registered in 2024.
Dry van configurations , container chassis, platforms, tanks, curtainside platforms and refrigerated boxes accounted for 72% of all towing equipment registered by the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) .
The category with the highest number of registrations was dry vans, with a total of 5,248 units registered in the January-November 2025 cycle. The segment leader was Fruehauf with 1,860 units, followed by ATRO with 698 and Gallegos with 423. These three companies account for 56.8% of the total category, according to an analysis by T21 Business Intelligence .

In the container chassis category, 3,606 units were added ; in this category , Forza led the registration with 839 units, ATRO with 536 and RR Jaliscienses with 299. These three brands concentrated 46.4% of the total.

The platforms totaled 3,274 units , and in this category ATRO led the registration with 330 units, Corpus Christi with 234 and De Lucio with 205. This category is more spread out among the participating companies, according to the data analyzed from the DGAF.

In the January-November 2025 cycle , two thousand 981 tanks were registered , of which Truxton added 310 units, ATRO reached 298 and Gallegos 293, both from the SPF and private transport.

Data from the DGAF showed that 853 refrigerated boxes were registered during the analysis cycle, and in this category there is a greater concentration of participants, where Utility totaled 562 refrigerated boxes and Great Dane added 110 units, together both brands concentrated 79% of the category.

Curtain-sided platforms totaled 628 units , with Operbus accounting for 231 units, Tyrsol 112, and ATRO 108. These three brands reached 72% of the category, according to data from the DGAF.
