Viva Aerobus will fly from Mérida airport to Orlando and Miami starting next July, while to Tijuana in November and to Los Angeles , seasonally, between December of this year and January 2025.

Mérida is one of Viva’s operational bases, where it maintains a weekly average of 100 arrival flights to Yucatán, which imply 19,860 available seats. With these new routes, four flights and 720 weekly seats are added.
In a statement, he explained that with the incorporation of a third aircraft to this base this year, two million seats will be offered from said destination, an increase of 150% since the opening of the base in 2022.

Likewise, it announced a new seasonal route to Los Angeles, which will be operating from December 18 of this year until January 8, 2025 and will have a weekly frequency on Wednesdays, facilitating tourism during the high season. vacation.
Likewise, to Tijuana starting next November 3 , this flight will have express stops in León on the way out and in Monterrey on the way back, where the planes will land briefly to refuel without passengers having to get off the aircraft.
With routes to Orlando and Miami, Viva already operates 16 routes to and from Mérida such as the International Airports of Mexico City (AICM) , Felipe Ángeles (AIFA), Guadalajara, León, Monterrey, Puebla, Querétaro, Toluca, Tuxtla Gutiérrez , Veracruz, Villahermosa and Havana in Cuba, as well as the routes to Tijuana and Los Angeles that will open this year.
