Transportación México Express (TME) celebrates 35 years of history in the handling, custody and storage of foreign trade merchandise in the Customs of the International Airport of Mexico City (AICM) , providing quality, safety and efficiency in the provision of said services .
TME was established in 1989 with the purpose of providing transportation services (internal transit) from the customs of the northern border to the AICM customs. In 1990, it obtained authorization from the then General Directorate of Customs to serve as a controlled facility. Since the beginning of its operations, it has distinguished itself for safety and excellence in the provision of its services, taking continuous improvement as its standard.
Currently, in the Bonded Warehouse , TME provides storage, custody and handling services for merchandise, cold chain storage services, transfer of merchandise between warehouses, ground assistance for airlines and as a General Handling Agent (GHA).
This is thanks to an infrastructure of 2,700 square meters (m2) , 1,835 rack positions, an area of 562 m2 to carry out prior reconnaissance, an area for dangerous goods, refrigeration, freezing and controlled temperature chambers, and 3,835 m3 of Loading capacity.
Likewise, throughout these years, in order to provide a better service, TME has implemented a policy of continuous improvement and has thus obtained various certifications , which have allowed it to strengthen trust with its clients and business partners.
TME is the first Bonded Warehouse in the AICM Customs to obtain the certification of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) / Certified Commercial Partner “Bonded Premises Profile”, allowing it to be part of the projection of the AICM Customs at an international level.
Its Integrated Management System is made up of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 37001 certifications , which has allowed TME to maintain a high degree of compliance with regulations with its commitment to transparency and efficiency in its operations, and with This will strengthen safety and quality measures.
In addition, TME has accreditations such as RA3, Secure Cargo Operator and the CEIV Pharma certification from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) , which strengthens the care and correct handling of cargo.
