
In the freight transportation sector, THR Transportes found its strength in understanding customer needs and adapting to them, according to Ricardo Torres Martínez, the company’s general manager.
“Thinking like the customer” is the premise that guides every operation, from the moment we enter the facilities to the final delivery of the product. This philosophy is reflected in an internal policy that seeks to prevent customer complaints by promoting the prevention and timely resolution of any issues, Torres emphasized.
To accomplish this, operators receive ongoing training and work under the motto of anticipating the requirements of each shipment, becoming an operational support, he explained.
With coverage throughout Mexico and service to the Texas area in the United States, the company, founded in 2006, operates 60 mobile units, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tortons, in addition to approximately 100 trailers.
Its services include dry van and flatbed transportation, supported by safety strategies that include redefining routes, adjusting schedules, and selecting lower-risk stops.
The recent fleet renewal incorporated technologies such as proximity sensors , lane departure warnings, and telemetry systems, which detect distractions and verify seat belt use.
They also added automatic transmissions, a measure that facilitates operation for new generations of operators and reduces the learning curve.
Torres’ leadership focuses on fostering autonomy , allowing each team member to make decisions aligned with the company’s well-being.
“Quality” is the word that defines its operation and a standard that was recognized for the second consecutive year with the Penske Carrier Excellence Award , a distinction that demands high levels of performance.

Among the company’s upcoming plans is the opening of a new yard in the Colón area of Querétaro , with the goal of expanding its service capacity and strengthening its presence in the Bajío region, maintaining quality as the cornerstone of its operation and ensuring that each shipment arrives at its destination in the best possible condition.
