The Agency for Trains and Integrated Public Transportation (ATTRAPI) received six bids for the construction and design of the Derramadero, Saltillo, Ramos Arizpe and García stations of the Saltillo–Nuevo Laredo passenger train.
According to the tender document, the consortium formed by Comsa Infraestructuras , VISE, COMSA and Regiomontana de Construcción y Servicios submitted a proposal for two billion 567 million 432 thousand 059.57 pesos.
The lowest offer was the one presented by Ingeniería y Desarrollo Inmobiliario de México , China Gezhouba Group Company Limited Mexico and Constructora e Inmobiliaria, with two billion 400 million 787 thousand 143.77 pesos.
ATTRAPI specified that the decision for this competition will be announced on January 30th .
He explained that the construction work will take place in the states of Coahuila and Nuevo León, and it is expected that the works will begin on February 10, 2026, with a duration of 749 calendar days .
This project includes the engineering development and execution of the comprehensive executive project for the construction of the aforementioned stations, platforms and tracks in the laredos, layout, earthworks, complementary studies, among others.
