In its commitment to promoting professionalization within the logistics security sector, the National Association of Vehicle Tracking and Protection Companies (ANERPV) began the process to become accredited as a Certifying Body (OC) before the National Council for Standardization and Certification of Labor Competencies (Conocer) , an agency attached to the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) .

This initiative will allow the association to certify labor competencies based on official standards, in addition to accrediting assessment centers and independent evaluators, explained Luis Villatoro Martínez, president of ANERPV.

“This initiative represents a turning point for the sector by enabling the professional and technical development of employees and senior management of member companies, as well as entrepreneurs in the security and logistics sectors,” said Villatoro.

He emphasized that the goal is to consolidate ANERPV as a national benchmark in logistics security by creating standards that strengthen the professionalization of the sector.

Among the announcements, progress was also made on Centinela 2.0 , the technological evolution of the platform that supports the operations of the association’s members.

“Centinela 2.0 has a dual purpose: It’s a cutting-edge technological tool that not only strengthens our associates’ operations but also positions ANERPV as a benchmark in technological innovation applied to logistics security in the country,” Villatoro said.

With these actions, ANERPV seeks to lay the foundation for a more professional and technologically prepared sector, in line with the current needs of the logistics industry in Mexico.
