SAN PEDRO GARZA GARCÍA, NL – In a global environment marked by geopolitical tensions, transformations in supply chains, and growing technological demands, the Transportation and Logistics Meeting (ETYL) 2025 opened its Monterrey edition as a strategic forum to outline the future of the sector in Mexico . The industry’s voice was heard from the start, with messages that combined realism and a long-term vision.

Osiel Cruz, CEO of Grupo T21, emphasized that the sector is undergoing a process of continuous adaptation in the face of a challenging scenario. “We have no choice but to gradually adapt to the circumstances and challenges and continue to navigate them in this very complex context in Mexico,” he stated. Referring to the current trade situation, he emphasized that Mexico maintains its position as an export powerhouse, with structural strengths such as its geographic location and productive leadership.

The new phase of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), he added, will set the pace for supply chains in the coming months. “I think we should expect very good news at the ETYL, and we’ll hear some of it here,” he anticipated.

Along the same lines, Leonardo Gómez, executive president of the National Association of Private Transportation (ANTP) , highlighted the importance of Monterrey as a logistics epicenter. “Monterrey is a city synonymous with work, innovation, and logistics development for Mexico,” he stated. He emphasized that ETYL has established itself as a space for exchanging ideas and building alliances during a time of relocation, technological transformation, and environmental pressure . “If anything characterizes this sector, it is its optimism in its ability to adapt and reinvent itself and continue moving forward responsibly for the future.”

For his part, Jorge Casares, CEO of Trayecto , focused on the value of strategic information to address issues such as overregulation and operational uncertainty. “ We are fortunate to have a country with resilient people who go out to fight every day and are accustomed to navigating uncertainty ,” he stated, acknowledging T21’s contribution in generating in-depth analysis for the industry.

On October 15 and 16, 2025 , Monterrey will host the Transportation and Logistics Meeting (ETYL) , the forum organized by Grupo T21 that will bring together the main leaders and specialists in the sector , to analyze the challenges and opportunities brought about by the transformation of supply chains driven by nearshoring .

Under the slogan “ Connecting Markets: Logistics Solutions for the New Era , ” the event will be held at the Hotel Presidente Intercontinental Monterrey , offering a space for strategic dialogue, learning, and high-level networking.

ETYL Monterrey 2025 seeks to strengthen regional competitiveness by disseminating innovative practices and forging strategic alliances in a changing environment.

Over the course of two days, there will be keynote addresses, specialized workshops , expert panels, and networking opportunities designed to drive the development of the logistics and transportation industry.

Attendees will be able to interact with more than 200 professionals , including entrepreneurs, academics, fleet executives, logistics service providers, and representatives from the manufacturing industry, in an environment that combines knowledge and business opportunities.

With the border as the starting point and trade as the guiding thread, the first edition of the CALI-BAJA 2025 Transportation and Logistics Meeting (ETYL) begins this Wednesday .

The event, organized by Grupo T21 , opens its doors with the participation of key representatives from the public and private sectors, ready to discuss infrastructure , sustainability, and technology applied to transportation and logistics in the northwest region of the country.

The event kicks off with a networking activity among attendees, followed by the official opening led by Captain Manuel Fernando Gutiérrez Gallardo, head of the  General Coordination of Ports and Merchant Marine (CGPMM) , accompanied by Israel Delgado Vallejo, regional vice president of the  National Chamber of Cargo Transportation (Canacar)  and CEO of  Express Service Transport Inc.

The first panel addresses the modernization of the Port of Ensenada , railway development, and other key infrastructure to strengthen the region’s logistics connectivity.

Throughout the day, the program focuses on topics such as transportation sustainability, technological innovation in customs and integrated logistics services (3PL), as well as the strategic role Baja California plays as a commercial hub with access to the Pacific and its proximity to the United States.

The border city of Tijuana, Baja California, will serve as the setting for an analysis of the current trade situation, primarily with the United States, in addition to generating key alliances and high-level discussions aimed at boosting the logistics competitiveness of a region that connects two economies and opens new routes for the transportation industry, port infrastructure, and customs operations.

The Cali-Baja edition of the Transportation and Logistics Meeting (ETYL) will be held in the northwest of the country for the first time. The meeting will bring together key industry leaders on May 14 and 15 in Tijuana . The meeting will explore the region’s strategic role in foreign trade and logistics collaboration between Mexico and the United States, one of the continent’s most dynamic trade routes.

Based in northwest Mexico, ETYL CALI-BAJA will also offer a key platform for dialogue on sustainable transportation, the electronics and logistics industry, trucking, and more .
