<p><span dir="auto">After five years of competition and 15 editions of the </span><a href="https://www.mtmexico.mx/"><span dir="auto">MT Mexico event in various locations throughout the country, the </span></a><strong><span dir="auto">first national final</span></strong><span dir="auto"> will be held on January 31, 2026, where operators from the transport companies that won </span><strong><span dir="auto">in the various categories during 2024 and 2025 in the four regions will compete</span></strong></p>
<blockquote><p><span dir="auto">The MT Mexico national final will feature 50 operators from the four regions: Northwest (Tijuana), Northeast (Allende), Border (Nuevo Laredo) and Gulf-Central (Orizaba).</span></p></blockquote>
<p><span dir="auto">The final of the largest fifth-wheel tractor-trailer maneuvering competition in America </span><strong><span dir="auto">will take place in Tampico, Tamaulipas, at the ExpoTampico Convention Center.</span></strong></p>
<p><span dir="auto">The final will be held in three categories and the operators will compete as follows: </span><strong><span dir="auto">nine in double articulated (Full), 18 in Cab Over (flatbed) and 23 in Sleeper Cab.</span></strong></p>
<p><span dir="auto">In the Full category, the first competitor will be Hilario Ramírez Hernández, from </span><a href="https://tbueno.com.mx/"><span dir="auto">Transportes Bueno</span></a><span dir="auto"> , while the last place of participation is held by Víctor Manuel Gámez Escalante, from </span><a href="https://fletesmarroquin.com.mx/"><span dir="auto">Fletes Marroquin.</span></a></p>
<p><span dir="auto">In Cab Over, Óscar Mota Aguilar, from </span><a href="https://www.transportesgasa.com/"><span dir="auto">Transportes GASA, will start, and Luis Alfredo Beltrán León, from </span></a><a href="https://atpilot.mx/"><span dir="auto">Autotransportes Pilot</span></a><span dir="auto"> , obtained 18th place .</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">Meanwhile, for Sleeper Cab, the winning operators of Day Cab are integrated, so Hugo Niño Bustos, from </span><a href="https://www.palosgarza.com/"><span dir="auto">Palos Garza,</span></a><span dir="auto"> will open the competition, and this category will end with Milton Tonatihu Rodríguez Cogordan from Auto Express Nor y Caribe, a </span><a href="https://zinergia.com/"><span dir="auto">Zinergia</span></a><span dir="auto"> company .</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">At the MT Mexico final, various activities will take place: the MT Stop, MT Kids, Grill area, live music, the classic tractor exhibition, Mechanics in Action which on this occasion will consist of two engines to assemble.</span></p>

<p><span>American Airlines has begun flying between </span><a href="https://www.dfwairport.com/"><span>Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)</span></a><span> and Tampico, Tamaulipas, representing a strategic step to strengthen air connectivity in the region.</span></p>
<blockquote><p><span>“We are pleased to welcome this new service from Tampico to DFW, providing travelers with a world-class experience and access to a vast network of connections. This new route is the 27th destination in Mexico served from DFW Airport, consolidating Mexico as our largest international market,” said Milton de la Paz, Vice President of Airline Relations and Cargo Business Development at DFW.</span></p></blockquote>
<p><span>The flight will be operated by an </span><strong><a href="https://embraer.com/global/en"><span>Embraer</span></a><span> 170 aircraft with capacity for 65 passengers.</span></strong><span> The cabin configuration includes 12 seats in Business Class and 53 in Economy Class.</span></p>
<blockquote><p><span>“American Airlines has been a strategic partner for decades, and we recognize its commitment and investment to expand connectivity at Tampico International Airport. With this new route, it reinforces its position as the largest operator of international routes at our airports, now totaling 14 international connections,” said Abelardo Muñoz, Director of Traffic Development at </span><a href="https://www.oma.aero/es/"><span>Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte (OMA)</span></a><span> .</span></p></blockquote>
<p><span>He recalled that in the last five years, </span><strong><span>the company and airport concessionaire has invested nearly 300 million pesos</span></strong><span> in works for the maintenance and improvement of the operational infrastructure, including rehabilitation of runways, platforms, taxiways and service roads, in addition to improvements in equipment to reinforce passenger safety.</span></p>
<p><span>These investments, he said, will continue in the coming years with the aim of continuing to guarantee user satisfaction and the sustainable growth of the airport.</span></p>
