LEÓN, GTO.- New foreign trade rules are changing the way the automotive industry operates in Mexico, marked by a more demanding customs environment where compliance, traceability and auditing have become central elements for the competitiveness of this sector, one of the most important in the country.

During the panel “Playing under new rules: customs reform and logistics competitiveness”, held at the second edition of the Road 2 Logistics Automotive 2026 of the Industrial Cluster , Gimena León, Industrial Services Procurement Coordinator of Pirelli Mexico, warned that it is no longer enough to know the regulatory changes, but that organizations must translate them into procedures, responsibilities and control systems that allow them to maintain operational continuity in the face of stricter oversight.

“The challenge is to translate that change into processes, times, movements and the definition of responsibilities within the organization,” León emphasized.

In her remarks, she explained that the reform to the Customs Law, which came into effect in 2026, is driving the digitization of processes and greater integration between corporate systems and government platforms . She also highlighted that authorities are using data analytics tools and artificial intelligence (AI) to strengthen audits and detect inconsistencies in foreign trade operations.

One of the panel’s main messages was that any non-compliance can become a logistical problem . An additional review, an incorrect tariff classification, or a documentation error could lead to delays, storage costs, and even halt the flow of materials to the production lines.

This issue becomes even more relevant in an industry that relies on highly integrated supply chains. Mexico maintains a strategic position within the North American automotive sector. In 2025 alone, 3,953,494 vehicles were produced and 3,385,785 units were exported, according to figures from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) .

During the panel, it was highlighted that regulatory pressure is also forcing companies to review the regional content of their products and their certificates of origin. Traceability has ceased to be a competitive advantage and has become an essential requirement for accessing the trade benefits of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) .

In that regard, Ramón Ruvalcaba, Supply Chain Director at Kasai Mexicana , agreed on the point about digitalization and modernization, and considered that given the high dependence on foreign inputs, the focus should be on regional content.

“We must focus on adding regional content and mastering the rules to minimize costs, because any impact goes directly to the market. So, as long as we remain in this situation, with this dependence on foreign countries, we have to work hard on regional content, on adding value in assembly and manufacturing,” he emphasized.

Participants felt that companies are no longer just looking for suppliers capable of delivering on time, but for partners who can demonstrate documentary compliance, responsiveness, and transparency in the origin of their inputs .

Another point addressed was the increase in customs inspection times. According to Gimena León, processes that previously could be completed in 24 or 48 hours now face more detailed reviews related to the value, tariff classification, and origin of the goods, extending the time to more than 48 hours. This has led several companies to increase safety stock levels to avoid production interruptions.

The expert indicated that maintaining larger inventories adds more costs. In addition to tied-up capital, companies must absorb expenses related to storage, delays, and potential penalties. Therefore, visibility across the logistics chain becomes a determining factor in balancing compliance and efficiency.

The panelists also agreed that foreign trade can no longer be handled solely by a specialized department. Finance, purchasing, logistics, production, legal, and foreign trade must all work under a unified strategy .

In this context, Francisco Méndez Aguiñaga, director general of the Bajío region’s Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (Comce) , stated that foreign trade has already changed, and therefore, past procedures are no longer sufficient for the present and future. Given this, he urged the strengthening of processes through the integration of different departments .

The importance of strengthening these capabilities is reflected in the current economic context. According to the National Customs Agency of Mexico (ANAM) , in 2025, customs revenue registered a real increase of 15.5% compared to the same period in 2024, totaling a cash flow of 1,449,461.35 million pesos.

The panel discussed the challenge facing the automotive industry in maintaining agile supply chains in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

The conclusion was clear: competitiveness will not depend solely on producing more or reducing costs . The ability to integrate information, guarantee compliance, and ensure the continuity of supply chains will determine which companies manage to adapt to the new rules of international trade.

LEÓN, GTO.- The competitiveness of the automotive industry in North America increasingly depends on the ability of its logistics chains to respond to an environment marked by trade uncertainty, economic volatility and technological transformation, specialists agreed on the panel “The automotive logistics world championship is played in North America”.

Within the framework of the second edition of the Road 2 Logistics Automotive 2026 of the Industrial Cluster , representatives of the automotive and logistics sector pointed out that the region maintains structural advantages that position it as one of the main manufacturing hubs in the world .

“The United States, Mexico, and Canada are not separated by seas, which gives us a constructive advantage. We have highways, trains, and different means of transportation that allow us to move materials, cars, and finished products much more efficiently,” highlighted Roxana Castro, Transportation Control Manager at BMW Group ‘s San Luis Potosí Plant.

Anna Frank, Vice President of Purchasing at FORVIA Clarion Electronics America, believes that North America has a very favorable integration between logistics, manufacturing, and technological development, which allows it to be one of the most competitive regions in the world. However, she said that there are challenges in the supply chain , “especially connectivity, electrification, sustainability; all of that here we have the precondition to build a very resilient chain.”

In his presentation, Cornelius Goertz, director of PC&L and Aftermarket for Nexteer Automotive Mexico, pointed out that logistics has become the bridge that connects all the links involved in automotive production, from the supply of components to the final delivery of vehicles, and estimated that without this coordination, regional competitiveness would be impossible.

One of the central themes of the panel was the evolution of the just-in-time model , which continues to be fundamental to automotive manufacturing, although it now requires greater flexibility and resilience in the face of supply chain disruptions.

In that regard, Roxana Castro stated that flexibility has ceased to be a competitive advantage and has become an indispensable condition . She explained that companies can no longer focus solely on operational efficiency, but must guarantee the continuity of their operations in the face of any contingency. “We need efficiency, but without jeopardizing the entire supply chain.”

The panelists also emphasized that digital tools and algorithms allow for the analysis of variables that were impossible to manage a few years ago.

The conversation also touched on the role of smart inventories . Unlike traditional models based on static safety stocks, companies are increasingly using dynamic systems that adjust inventory levels according to component criticality, supply source, and market conditions.

“We really need smart inventories, because one component is no longer like another. If it comes from China, it’s different than if it comes from Taiwan, Japan, or any other Asian country. There are digital tools to anticipate and identify critical components, and based on that, we make the decision,” said Anna Frank.

The experts agreed that the strategic use of data allows for risk reduction without compromising efficiency . However, they cautioned that data quality remains a challenge, as decisions based on inaccurate data can impact the entire operation. “Data is key. It’s the most important element for ensuring an efficient supply chain, and therefore, smart inventory management,” Goertz emphasized.

Another key point of the discussion was the changing role of suppliers. The panelists emphasized that simply meeting delivery deadlines is no longer enough to be considered a strategic partner in the automotive industry.

Today, automakers are looking for suppliers that can react quickly to changes in volume, border closures, regulatory adjustments, or logistical disruptions. Adaptability has become as important a criterion as quality or cost.

“Ultimately, what we’re looking for from the supplier is the certainty that the production line will be able to continue normally. That even if there are road closures, changes in rates, or changes in volume, they have that flexibility,” Roxana Castro stated.

Participants emphasized that collaboration between manufacturers, logistics operators, carriers, and suppliers will be crucial to facing the challenges of the coming years.

One of the panel’s conclusions is that North America must strengthen regional integration, invest in logistics infrastructure, accelerate technological adoption, and develop specialized talent to maintain its global competitiveness.

It is worth remembering that in April 2026, exports of light vehicles manufactured in Mexico showed growth, totaling 286,317 units, which meant an increase of 11.4% compared to the same month of 2025, according to figures from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi) .

Meanwhile, from January to April of this year, 1,081,948 vehicles were exported, a 4.6% increase compared to the same period last year. The United States was the main destination for light vehicle exports, accounting for 76% , or 821,984 units. Canada followed with 134,245 vehicles , representing 12.4% of exports. These figures reflect the importance of automotive integration in the North American region.

With Mexico set to host another World Cup in just a few days, companies are already adjusting their business strategies, logistics operations, and customer service plans to take advantage of the economic impact the tournament will generate.

According to the 2026 World Football Survey conducted by KPMG among more than 300 executives in Mexico and Central America, 66% of respondents in Mexico expect the event to have a positive or very positive impact on their industry , while 56% of participants from Central America share that expectation.

During the presentation of the results, Rogelio Berlanga, Lead Partner of the Consumer Markets and Retail Industry at KPMG Mexico, highlighted that sectors such as hospitality, consumer goods and retail are among those that anticipate the greatest benefits, particularly in the host cities: Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey.

“There are definitely some industries that will be more impacted by this World Cup, particularly in the host cities. Hospitality, consumer goods, and the retail sector are industries that particularly expect a mostly positive impact,” he said.

The main benefit expected by companies is an increase in sales. 48% of Mexican executives believe the World Cup will boost their revenue , while 35% expect it to strengthen their reputation and brand presence.

Likewise, 32% anticipate that the event will accelerate digital transformation processes through the incorporation of new technologies.

Berlanga explained that many organizations have already begun developing promotions, commercial alliances, and campaigns aimed at the markets of origin of the visitors who will arrive at the World Cup venues.

“Many clients are running promotions in other countries, visiting certain cities, hiring former soccer players to promote their brands, or creating product bundles that include a gift related to the World Cup,” he commented.

Beyond marketing, companies are also preparing to meet an increase in demand.

When asked about potential logistical challenges, Berlanga stated that several companies have begun to strengthen operational capabilities and make temporary hires to respond to the expected increase in consumption.

“Many businesses are also hiring temporary staff, precisely to ensure they have the necessary human resources to meet the expected demand in terms of consumption,” he explained.

The executive added that supermarket chains, stores, and consumer goods companies are already working on planning inventories, promotions, and product availability related to the tournament , from electronics to collectibles and mass-market consumer goods.

The study also reveals that Mexican companies are allocating significant resources to capitalize on the current situation. 37% of respondents reported investments of between one and 15 million pesos in marketing strategies related to the World Cup.

Furthermore, artificial intelligence is beginning to gain ground as a business tool. Seventeen percent of organizations in Mexico indicated that they are incorporating AI solutions into their strategies to capitalize on the event, while others are focusing on digital platforms, loyalty programs, and tools to improve the customer experience.

“Everyone is also betting on these types of strategies, seeking to develop generative artificial intelligence that allows them to somehow predict what consumer expectations are so that they can be prepared and meet these needs,” Berlanga noted.

42% of companies in Mexico plan to install screens in their facilities so that employees can follow the games; 37% will enable specific spaces to watch the matches and 26% will avoid scheduling meetings during the games of the Mexican national team.

For Rolando Williams, Audit Partner at KPMG Panama, the tournament represents an opportunity to strengthen employee commitment and enhance the company’s positioning.

“It’s an event that takes place every four years, and many companies try to use it to boost their brand,” he said.

When executives were asked what the top priorities should be for Mexico as a host country, reputation management and visitor experience ranked first with 35% of the responses.

This was followed by the quality of the tourism offer (20%) and sustainability initiatives (13%), reflecting the importance that service infrastructure, mobility and the overall experience of the millions of visitors expected during the tournament will have.

For KPMG specialists, the 2026 World Cup represents not only a sporting celebration, but also a test for supply chains, business operations, and the ability of companies to turn a global event into economic growth and brand positioning.

“Behind every operation there is much more than merchandise.
The company explained that the new distribution center was designed to meet the current demands of the supply chain, where customers demand greater speed, accuracy, traceability, and temperature control.

In addition, Frialsa maintains expansion projects in other regions of the country , including Monterrey, La Laguna, Puerto Vallarta and Yucatán, as part of a strategy to strengthen its national logistics network.

One of the main challenges currently facing the cold chain industry is energy supply, acknowledged Jorba Servitje. Due to the high electricity consumption required for these types of operations, Frialsa has promoted initiatives such as participation in wind power projects and the installation of solar panels at its operational centers, although it considers energy to remain one of the most significant challenges for the sector.

The digital revolution, artificial intelligence (AI), geopolitical conflicts, and nearshoring (relocation of production lines) are redefining international trade and forcing freight forwarders to assume a much more strategic role within global supply chains, warned Thomas Sim, president of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) , at the 8th Congress of the Mexican Association of Freight Forwarders (Amacarga) .

At the conference “The Future of International Trade, the Digital Revolution & Strategic Role of Freight Forwarders”, the executive asserted that the traditional freight forwarder model is outdated and that the sector must transform itself to respond to an increasingly complex, technological and dynamic logistics environment .

“We are no longer just intermediaries. Today we are supply chain managers,” he emphasized.

He explained that freight forwarders currently participate in processes related to multimodal transport, warehousing, insurance, customs compliance, financing, document management and technology, in addition to advising clients on logistics and commercial strategies.

One of the central points of his presentation was the need to strengthen multimodal transport as a response to global disruptions affecting international trade.

The FIATA president mentioned that situations such as tensions in the Middle East, changes in maritime routes and the reconfiguration of trade between China and the United States are forcing companies to rethink logistics corridors and supply strategies.

“Today, multimodality is a fundamental part of value-added services,” he said.

In this context, he highlighted that Mexico faces an important opportunity stemming from nearshoring and changes in global manufacturing and trade flows.

Thomas Sim emphasized that freight forwarders must develop capabilities in areas such as rules of origin, trade agreements, and trade compliance to help their clients optimize operations and reduce tariff costs.

“If a freight forwarder understands trade agreements and rules of origin, they can help modify routes or processes to obtain tariff benefits,” he commented.

He also emphasized the importance of training and professionalization in the sector , noting that many operators continue to work under outdated schemes that no longer meet the current needs of global logistics.

Another highlight was the digital evolution driven by FIATA, particularly through the adoption of electronic documents and technological platforms.

The president of the organization explained that FIATA already has a digital ecosystem that allows the issuance of electronic bills of lading backed by blockchain technology and digital identification systems.

According to Thomas Sim, this model seeks to create a reliable network for freight forwarders, banks, shipping companies and other actors in the logistics chain, reducing fraud risks and improving document efficiency.

He also highlighted that technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, and digital platforms will continue to transform logistics operations and redefine the role of operators.

The executive invited attendees to the FIATA World Congress, to be held in Milan, Italy, in October 2026, as part of the international organization’s centenary celebrations. FIATA will officially turn 100 on May 31st.

Over the next five years, the supply chain will undergo various operational changes, making it necessary to have trained personnel to face this transformation, as well as tools, technologies, and collaboration between companies, according to industry specialists.

Mayra Velázquez, a specialist in Pricing and Land Transportation Project Development, explained that these changes, which will be observed around 2031 , will involve the automation of costs based on historical data. She also predicted that just-in-time delivery will disappear, some maritime routes will be suspended due to droughts, and there will be less logistics talent.

He also commented that globalization will no longer exist, but rather closed blocs, while artificial intelligence (AI) will be an essential part of the future; however, “we don’t know if it will have the resilience to give us newer data; our dependence on technology makes us vulnerable to this tool.”

During the webinar “Supply Chain of Tomorrow: Anticipating Trends Towards 2031” , he explained that collaboration strategies must also be applied.

“We need to make the supply chain more open, with everyone collaborating, trusting the carrier, creating a win-win situation for both parties to be more efficient in equipment and transportation rotation, resulting in higher profits, on-time delivery, and simpler management through everyone’s collaboration,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, Hugo Ibáñez, a specialist in TMS Solutions and Digital Transformation at Unigis , indicated that part of the advantages that the sector will have by 2031 will be a minimum standard, such as real-time visibility, integrations, optimization, among others.

“By that year, it will be assumed that the TMS will automatically optimize costs, service levels, capacities, times, and even carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, and the use of advanced analytics will no longer be a competitive advantage. The advantage will be knowing how to use it to have more resilient networks, make better decisions, and respond more quickly to rapidly changing environments,” he explained.

He asserted that Mexican logistics ” always has to know how to adapt and move forward , even when the context is not ideal, as was the case with the pandemic,” and he also agreed on the need for more collaboration between companies.

Carlos Canseco, founder of PELT: Professionals in Logistics & Transportation , considered it important to be up-to-date on logistics issues , to have mastery of AI for making business decisions, but also in data analytics.

“Knowing what to do with that information, where we’re going to take it, and what results we’re going to get,” she emphasized. She also pointed out that it’s a priority to implement collaborative negotiation strategies to achieve a win-win outcome.

For his part, César García, Regional Sales Director at Uber Freight , stressed that sustainability is another issue that must be considered, so concrete actions must be implemented, such as the conversion to intermodal transport , in addition to working on predictability and human capital.

At the conference “Economic Perspectives for Investment and Strengthening the Supply Chain” at the GOMSA 2026 Event , Genaro Montes Díaz, Undersecretary of Economic Development of Querétaro, stated that Mexico is facing a decisive moment in trade and that the review of the agreement with the United States and Canada will force companies to strengthen traceability, knowledge of their supply chains and communication between operational, logistics and foreign trade areas.

“The United States wants to know where the goods come from, what the DNA of the products is, and how the value chains are integrated,” he said.

During his participation, Montes Díaz explained that the international environment has changed radically since the pandemic and the trade war between the United States and China , which accelerated processes such as nearshoring (relocation of production lines) and the regionalization of production chains.

He recalled that many companies moved their production to China for decades because of the low manufacturing costs; however, factors such as technological restrictions, the pandemic and the semiconductor crisis highlighted the vulnerability of depending on distant supply chains.

“What we are seeing today did not begin with the pandemic. Regionalization already existed, but the pandemic made evident the need to bring production closer to consumer markets,” he commented.

In that context, he warned that the review of the USMCA will be marked by three major issues: the traceability of goods, the rules of origin, especially in steel and aluminum, and the rapid response labor mechanisms.

Querétaro is betting on technology, logistics and talent

The undersecretary highlighted that Querétaro has built an industrial strategy based on diversification and specialization over decades , evolving from the food industry to sectors such as automotive, aerospace, medical devices, data centers and advanced technologies.

Currently, he said, the state concentrates about 75% of the data centers installed in Mexico , in addition to having a strategic geographical position in the center of the country, logistical infrastructure and a network of more than 130 public and private universities.

“Querétaro does not represent even 1% of the national territory, but it has become one of the most competitive and safe states in the country,” he stated.

Montes Díaz highlighted the growth of the Querétaro International Airport as a logistics hub, driven by both passenger traffic and the increase in air cargo, as well as the presence of operations by companies such as UPS and Mercado Libre .

He also emphasized the importance of the aerospace sector in the state, stating that Querétaro is one of only three places in the world where aircraft engines are manufactured , along with France and the United States.

One of the central messages of the conference was the need for Mexican companies to strengthen the integration between production, logistics, purchasing and foreign trade to respond to new international requirements.

The official warned that many companies still operate with fragmented information, making it difficult to prove the true origin of products and comply with the standards that the United States will require.

“If production areas do not share information with logistics and foreign trade, companies will be at a competitive disadvantage,” he warned.

Therefore, he insisted that talent development, digitalization, collaboration between academia, government and industry, and the strengthening of local suppliers will be fundamental to facing the new stage of international trade.

A complex scenario for Mexico

Montes Díaz also addressed the macroeconomic challenges facing the country, including the uncertainty generated by U.S. trade policies, tariff volatility, and the recent reduction in Mexico’s credit rating.

Even so, he considered that the country maintains important advantages thanks to its integration with the US market, which represents the destination of more than 80% of Mexican exports .

“Mexico has a huge opportunity, but we have to prepare. We can’t stop it from raining, but we can put on our umbrellas before the storm,” he stressed.

Given the relocation of companies (nearshoring) and the renegotiation of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), supply chains in the country face challenges in infrastructure, customs, security, technology, among others, industry specialists agreed.

Antonio Arranz, president of DHL Express Mexico , said regarding the USMCA that work must be done on the correct rules of origin, as well as having the necessary infrastructure for information management and security.

“Infrastructure is the most delicate issue we have; there is a delay of 10 or 20 years, and the United States is getting very serious about cybersecurity and not letting them get away with dumping. So one of the issues that Mexico most urgently needs to work on in the customs area is how to ensure the correct rules of origin and the correct infrastructure,” he commented.

He explained that there is also an opportunity in the management of customs areas, mainly in ports and some airports, a situation that is contrary to what exists at the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA).

“When the 12 bonded warehouses opened at AIFA, it freed up 200,000 square meters of capacity that Mexico City didn’t have. Mexico needed those 200,000 square meters to be able to operate; the implementation was painful, but it advanced us 20 years. Monterrey Airport is behind, as is Guadalajara’s, and the only modern one is AIFA. Bonded warehouses are needed at the borders to do this; the only risk is that it will become a monopoly,” he commented.

During the 3PL Ally panel, third in name, first in excellence organized by Conalog , Iliana Gámiz, CEO of E2E Supply Chain Services, mentioned that there is a great opportunity to offer a complete solution for the supply chain , that is, supplier, transport, visibility, among others.

Regarding the labor reform, he considered the initiative positive because “it brought order, since before we competed with companies that had their payroll off the books, and our costs were higher than the market, especially in the maquiladora sector, and clients said they had three cheaper suppliers. And that helped us a lot in bringing order.”

Jorge López, VP Sales at NetLogistik, explained that in the technological field, the digitization of processes must be applied , “one of the challenges that we continue to face in the Latin American market is the incredible fact that many processes are still carried out on paper; we lack that value proposition.”

Furthermore, he said that the implementation of these processes leads to economic benefits, an increased level of service, and benefits for the end customer.

Regarding the use of artificial intelligence, he commented that there is currently the concept of artificial intelligence agents for the supply chain, a tool that helps to automate processes and analysis.

Digital transformation has moved beyond futuristic discussions to become an urgent necessity in logistics. Based on this premise, KLog held its first Logtech Day in Mexico , an event that brought together specialists, clients, startups , and supply chain leaders to discuss how technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and real-time visibility are redefining the movement of goods .

The event, celebrating its seventh edition and choosing Mexico as its new regional venue, brought together more than 350 attendees from countries including Brazil, Argentina, Peru, and Mexico. The company presented its vision for the future of logistics, characterized by automation, digital financing, technological integration, and greater collaboration between humans and intelligent systems .

During the opening, Janan Knust, founder and CEO of KLog, highlighted that the logistics industry has ceased to be “the backyard” of businesses to become a strategic player within the global economy.

“It is beautiful to see so many people gathered from different areas with one purpose: to find in logistics an opportunity to shine,” he expressed to the attendees.

The executive acknowledged some initial nervousness about bringing the event to Mexico for the first time, but asserted that the industry’s response exceeded expectations. The meeting also served to reinforce Mexico’s position as one of the company’s priority markets for expansion in Latin America.

Through conferences, panels, and conversations with customers and specialists, KLog showed how logistics is going through a new stage in which digitalization is no longer a promise, but an operational standard.

The company highlighted advances such as the automation of thousands of operations, the expansion of financial services for logistics companies, the strengthening of traceability tools, and technological integration with different systems in the transport and foreign trade ecosystem.

For Gabriel Gurovich, CPO of KLog, the Logtech Day concept represents the future of the industry.

“The main thing we need to understand is that Logtech isn’t something KLog invented. Logtech is the future of this industry; it’s about making the supply chain user-friendly, something that gives you visibility and explains how to move cargo around the world,” he said.

The executive stated that the sector will experience accelerated changes in the next 18 to 24 months, driven by artificial intelligence tools, automation, and data analytics.

Visibility, AI and data: the new competitive differentiator

One of the central themes of Logtech Day was the need to evolve from reactive supply chains to predictive and connected models .

In various panels, participants from technology companies and users agreed that real-time visibility has ceased to be a ” nice to have ” and has become an operational requirement, especially after the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and in anticipation of future events such as the 2026 World Cup.

Experts noted that many companies still face problems stemming from manual processes, excessive email, a lack of platform integration, and poor data quality. In contrast, companies that manage to centralize information and automate decisions will be able to react more quickly to delays, route changes, or operational contingencies.

The growing role of generative AI in business processes, customer service, document automation, and logistics decision-making was also addressed.

During one of the conversations, representatives of the technology ecosystem agreed that the real challenge will no longer be solely developing technology, but ensuring that companies know how to implement and take advantage of it correctly.

“There is a lot of technology available, but the difference will be in how capable we are of generating solutions that really help customers make better decisions,” it was mentioned during the event.

Technology with purpose

Beyond digitalization, the event also had a focus on organizational culture and business purpose.

KLog took advantage of the meeting to present “AFIRE” , a book that summarizes the company’s corporate culture based on five pillars: attitude, focus, discomfort, resilience and study .

During the presentation, Janan Knust asserted that business growth must be accompanied by a human and social purpose .

“Measuring success by how much we give and not by how much we have would completely change the way business is done,” he commented.

The conversation revolved around building purpose-driven companies, capable of combining technological innovation with human development and organizational culture.

Mexico, a strategic market for technological logistics

The Logtech Day event in Mexico comes at a key moment for the national logistics industry, marked by phenomena such as nearshoring , the growth of e-commerce, and the pressure to build more resilient and digitized supply chains.

At various points during the event, panelists highlighted that Mexico faces major challenges in infrastructure , congestion, and operational fragmentation, but also enormous opportunities to accelerate technological adoption.

“The future will belong to the companies that manage to connect all the scattered logistics information and turn it into smart decisions,” they said.

With this first edition in the country, KLog seeks to position Logtech Day as an annual space to promote conversations about innovation, automation and digital transformation within the Mexican and Latin American logistics ecosystem.
