<p><span>According to its report sent to the  <a href="https://translate.google.com/website?sl=es&amp;tl=en&amp;hl=es&amp;client=webapp&amp;u=https://www.bmv.com.mx/es/Grupo_BMV">Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV)</a></span><span> , GAP reported 30 million 864 thousand 200 passengers compared to 31 million 469 thousand 400 users last year.</span></p>

<p><span>The concessionaire of 12 airports in the country mentioned that the impact originated in the national market where it had a decrease of 6.3%, </span><strong><span>the largest drop was at the Mexicali airport.</span></strong><span> While internationally, growth was 3.6%, since the vast majority of airports registered increases, and only Tijuana and La Paz decreased.</span></p>
<p><span>OMA had a drop of 2% because it went from 12 million 608 thousand 975 passengers to 12 million 359 thousand 61 users during January to June of this year.</span></p>

<p><span>Similarly, in the national market there was a drop of 3.9%, while internationally the increase was 11.2% year-on-year.</span></p>
<p><span>Meanwhile, Asur&#8217;s traffic fell 0.4% in the first half compared to the same period last year. This is because it mobilized 21 million 690 thousand 50 travelers compared to 21 million 771 thousand 122 last year.</span></p>

<p>The export and production of light vehicles in Mexico grew by 10.7% and 5.2%, respectively, in the first half of the year compared to the same period in 2023, reported the <a href="https://www.inegi.org.mx/">National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi)</a> .</p>
<p>According to the Administrative Registry of the Automotive Industry of Light Vehicles (RAIAVL), during said period, <strong>one million 721 thousand 852 units were exported</strong> , 165 thousand 962 more than in the compared period.</p>
<p>Likewise, <strong>the production of light vehicles increased by 5.2% year-on-year</strong> , going from one million 896 thousand 833 to one million 996 thousand 136 units.</p>
<p>The highest growth was for <a href="https://www.vw.com.mx/es.html">Volkswagen</a> with 29.9%, followed by <a href="https://www.honda.mx/">Honda</a> with 24.6% and<a href="https://www.ford.mx/"> Ford</a><a href="https://translate.google.com/website?sl=es&amp;tl=en&amp;hl=es&amp;client=webapp&amp;u=https://www.ford.mx/"> Motor</a> with 13.6 percent. While the biggest drop was for  <a href="https://www.toyota.mx/">Toyota</a> with 27% and <a href="https://www.audi.com.mx/mx/web/es.html">Audi</a> with 26.9 percent.</p>
<p><strong>Light trucks represented 75.5% of the total produced</strong> , while the rest corresponded to automobile manufacturing.</p>

<p>Regarding sales, Inegi mentioned that <strong>these increased by 11.9%,</strong> because the first semester ended with 708,650 light vehicles sold, 75,563 more than in the same period last year.</p>
