When announcing the financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025 (1Q25) ending on May 4, 2024, Samsara reported consistent progress in key indicators.

Regarding revenue, Samsara disclosed a 37% increase, reaching $280.7 million in 1Q25.

In terms of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Samsara reported $1.176 billion for 1Q25, also showing a 37% growth compared to 1Q24.

“We had a solid first quarter of the new fiscal year with revenues of $280.7 million in the first quarter, a 37% year-over-year growth, the same year-over-year adjusted revenue growth as the last quarter but at a larger scale,” said Sanjit Biswas, CEO and co-founder of Samsara. “As a strategic partner to the world’s most complex and leading physical operations organizations, we are focused on delivering clear and rapid return on investment for our customers and improving their operations.”

According to the guidance presented to investors, revenue for 2Q25 is projected to be between $288 and $290 million, also representing a 31-32% increase for the period.

The guidance anticipates that the full fiscal year 2025 will generate revenues for Samsara of $1.205 – $1.213 billion, representing a 29% growth.

In the investor report, Samsara highlights in the return on investment (ROI) section that it can be greater than eight times (8x), with over $2 million in annual benefits related to companies employing the systems.

Among the operational benefits identified by the Samsara ecosystem operation are a 20% reduction in engine idle times, a 10% increase in vehicle lifespan, and a 29% reduction in accident records.

On June 10, at the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Samsara’s shares (NYSE: IOT) closed at $30.95 per share, representing a 1.28% increase from the previous day.
