The expansion, which is already operational, added nine additional doors to the refrigerated inspection point, bringing the total to 20 access points for phytosanitary inspections.

In turn, two more gates were added to the dry inspection point , for a total of 12 access points . This infrastructure, together with its facilities within the Veracruz port , allows GOLMEX to operate with an installed capacity of 34 gates at the refrigerated point and 32 at the dry inspection point .

Both facilities have electrical substations and emergency power plants that ensure the operation of the chambers and refrigerated containers. They also have extensive infrastructure and equipment: laboratories for phytosanitary inspections, a station with 100 connections for refrigerated containers at the external inspection point and 200 more connections within the port , cranes, a fleet of forklifts, their own transport equipment, and motor generators that guarantee the continuity of the cold chain.

With this investment, GOLMEX advances its offering of specialized logistics solutions for perishable products, focusing on continuous improvement in phytosanitary inspection processes and cold chain security.

Expanding strategic vision

With the development of its logistics center and the acquisition of five hectares adjacent to its facilities, the company will continue to build key infrastructure to provide comprehensive services for various types of cargo (general, perishable, hazardous, and project cargo), strengthening its storage and response capacity .
