Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, in the United States, the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) is the organization that represents the various motor transportation applications in North America , where its members total more than 220 thousand units.

Recently, the TCA announced the incorporation of its first member company of Mexican origin: Olympic Transport , “this expands TCA’s reach in North America,” describes the organization’s statement shared with T21.

With the addition of Olympic Transport, TCA now has a presence in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

“We are delighted to welcome Olympic Transport to the TCA family. Its inclusion not only marks an important milestone in our association’s history, but also strengthens our position as a dynamic North American trade association,” said TCA President Jim Ward. “With Olympic Transport, we enhance our advocacy and representation for carriers across North America, ensuring a more connected and efficient cross-border trucking landscape.”

Olympic Transport was founded in 1990 with a truck and a flatbed, where its focus was cross-border services, and even that dynamic  led it to be the first company authorized by the United States government to transport goods beyond the commercial zone. , at the time of the administration of President Felipe Calderón. It was also the first to participate in the cross-border transportation program.

The firm has its headquarters in Apodaca, Nuevo León, as well as strategic terminals in Nuevo Laredo, Monclova, Querétaro; as well as Laredo and San Antonio, Texas.
