Grupo CICE was awarded the Most Innovative 2024 business recognition , awarded by NetMedia , for its technological contribution in the logistics sector.

The award highlighted the implementation of the Electronic Revalidation project for Cargo Forwarders , which allows for a significant improvement in the efficiency of freight forwarding processes.

In this regard, this recognition was granted after the evaluation of more than 130 projects by a committee made up of leaders in information technologies from the public and private sectors.

In this regard, Grupo CICE reported through a press release that it stood out for its team’s ability to integrate innovative technological solutions, specifically in reducing processing times, which are now completed in just a few hours.

“This set of benefits, developed by CICE’s IT Infrastructure and Project Development team, highlights the interest in the innovation of customer-oriented software products and the improvement of their user experience when contracting services with the group, acting at the same time as a catalyst for the development of innovative solutions in the port and logistics sector,” the statement said.

Mexico-based Grupo CICE has a portfolio that includes port terminals, transportation and 3PL storage solutions, and continues to advance in the development of its infrastructure.

The company is currently building a new container handling terminal in the northern bay of the port of Veracruz, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and the growth of the logistics sector in the country.
