<p><strong><span dir="auto">From January to October 2025, air cargo in Mexico fell 3.9%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> compared to the same period last year, going from 1,051,547.9 tons to 1,011,017 tons, the </span><a href="https://www.gob.mx/afac"><span dir="auto">Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC)</span></a><span dir="auto"> announced .</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">Among the 10 most important airfields in the country in cargo handling, </span><strong><span dir="auto">the </span><a href="https://aifa.aero/"><span dir="auto">Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA)</span></a><span dir="auto"> continued to decline</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , closing the cycle with 12.2% fewer tons than in the same period of 2024, ending with 329,970.4 tons moved.</span></p>
<p><strong><span dir="auto">Toluca registered a decrease of 21%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> ; it went from 33,002.1 tons in January-October 2024 to 26,076.3 tons in the same period this year.</span></p>

<p><span dir="auto">During the period, </span><strong><span dir="auto">the </span><a href="https://www.aicm.com.mx/"><span dir="auto">Mexico City International Airport (AICM)</span></a><span dir="auto"> saw a 4.8% increase</span></strong><span dir="auto"> in cargo movement, ending the period with 206,862.5 tons, an increase of 9,425.1 tons.</span></p>

<p><span dir="auto">AFAC specified that </span><strong><span dir="auto">national cargo decreased by 2.1%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> ; AIFA reported a decrease of 43.5%, ending the cycle with 8,310.1 tons, which represented 6,409.9 tons less compared to 2024.</span></p>

<p><strong><span dir="auto">International cargo </span></strong><strong><span dir="auto">fell by 4.7%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , from 726,934.8 tons to 693,077.5 tons year-over-year. AIFA experienced a 10.9% decrease, while AICM grew by 2.8% year-over-year.</span></p>

<p><span dir="auto">In the January-October period, the national route that grew the most was </span><strong><span dir="auto">Monterrey-Mexico</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , which went from 8,114 tons to 11,276 tons, an increase of 39 percent.</span></p>

<p><span dir="auto">Meanwhile, </span><strong><span dir="auto">at the international level</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , only Santa Lucía-Los Angeles, Los Angeles-Guadalajara and Memphis-Guadalajara had a growth of 107.6%, 29.5% and 29.3%, respectively.</span></p>
