<h4><strong><span dir="auto">Exports, with mixed results</span></strong></h4>
<p><span dir="auto">In contrast, </span><strong><span dir="auto">exports totaled 300,475 vehicles in August 2026</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , an increase of 1.3% compared to the 296,734 units sent abroad during the same month of 2025.</span></p>

<p><img decoding="async" class=" wp-image-682097 aligncenter" src="https://t21.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/CuadroExporvehiculosago2026.jpg" sizes="(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px" srcset="https://t21.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/CuadroExporvehiculosago2026.jpg 846w, https://t21.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/CuadroExporvehiculosago2026-300x234.jpg 300w, https://t21.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/CuadroExporvehiculosago2026-768x600.jpg 768w, https://t21.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/CuadroExporvehiculosago2026-600x469.jpg 600w, https://t21.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/CuadroExporvehiculosago2026-150x117.jpg 150w, https://t21.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/CuadroExporvehiculosago2026-750x586.jpg 750w" alt="" width="520" height="407" data-pin-no-hover="true" /></p>
<blockquote><p><span dir="auto">By brand, Stellantis stood out in total exports with 284,743 vehicles shipped abroad, representing a 40.2% year-over-year increase. Volkswagen followed with 211,306 cars, 19.4% more than in 2015. </span><a href="https://www.kia.com/mx/main.html"><span dir="auto">KIA</span></a><span dir="auto"> advanced 10.5% year-over-year with 156,944 cars. Conversely, Nissan reduced its exports by 29% in the first eight months of 2016; Ford Motor fell by 10.5%, and Toyota registered a 4.4% year-over-year decrease.</span></p></blockquote>
<p><span dir="auto">With these results, the Mexican automotive sector closed August with production continuing its slight contraction, while export volume showed contrasting results. The evolution of both indicators will be key to gauging the pace of production lines and the performance of vehicles assembled in Mexico in international markets.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">Furthermore, with the review process of the </span><strong><span dir="auto">United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA)</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , the Mexican automotive industry faces challenges, such as the tariff policy of the United States and a possible tightening of the rules of origin.</span></p>

<p><span dir="auto">According to the report from these organizations, some Asian brands showed negative sales performance last November. </span><a href="https://www.isuzumex.com.mx/"><span dir="auto">Isuzu reported a </span></a><strong><span dir="auto">38.4%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> decrease in sales , </span><a href="https://www.foton.mx/"><span dir="auto">Foton a </span></a><strong><span dir="auto">31.6%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> drop , </span><a href="https://www.mitsubishi-motors.mx/"><span dir="auto">Mitsubishi</span></a><span dir="auto"> an </span><strong><span dir="auto">11.1%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> decrease , </span><a href="https://www.suzuki.com.mx/"><span dir="auto">Suzuki</span></a><span dir="auto"> a </span><strong><span dir="auto">7.7% decrease, and Toyota a </span></strong><strong><span dir="auto">4.3%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> decrease .</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">The strong pace of vehicle sales recorded in September and October fell in the eleventh month of the year, due to the United States&#8217; tariff policy and lower consumption in the Mexican market.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">The November result also emphasizes that there is still no sustained recovery of the domestic market; however, the Mexican automotive industry remains resilient in the face of constant trade changes.</span></p>
