<p><a href="https://www.cafmobility.com/?pag=1"><span dir="auto">Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles México (CAF México)</span></a><span dir="auto"> has appointed </span><strong><span dir="auto">Arturo Palacios Uribe as its new CEO in the country</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , replacing Maximiliano Zurita, who concludes his 24-year term at the helm of the company.</span></p>

<p><span dir="auto">Palacios Uribe holds a degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the </span><a href="https://www.unam.mx/"><span dir="auto">National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM)</span></a><span dir="auto"> and an MBA from </span><a href="https://www.ipade.mx/"><span dir="auto">IPADE Business School</span></a><span dir="auto"> . He has </span><strong><span dir="auto">over 30 years of experience in the development and management of infrastructure projects</span></strong><span dir="auto"> in the energy, transportation, and regulatory consulting sectors, both in the public and private sectors.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">Throughout his career, he has distinguished himself by his leadership, strategic vision, and deep understanding of the country&#8217;s regulatory and operational environment.</span></p>
<blockquote><p><span dir="auto">&#8220;With this transition, CAF Mexico begins a new phase of growth, consolidating its role as a key ally in the transformation of rail mobility in Mexico and Latin America, under the values ​​of innovation, sustainability, and excellence that distinguish the company,&#8221; the firm said.</span></p></blockquote>
<p><span dir="auto">The company emphasized in a statement that Mexico has been one of the first and most important markets in CAF&#8217;s internationalization process. </span><strong><span dir="auto">Since its arrival in the country more than three decades ago</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , the company has not only made significant strategic investments but has also contributed to the comprehensive development of the national railway infrastructure, promoting the local production of trains and components, as well as the transfer of technology and knowledge.</span></p>

<p><span dir="auto">During his tenure, CAF Mexico participated in landmark projects such as the Mexico City Suburban Train, the Mexico City–Toluca Interurban Train, several vehicle projects for the Mexico City Metro, and the transportation systems of Guadalajara and Monterrey.</span></p>
