<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><span>The </span><a href="https://www.amia.com.mx/"><span>Mexican Automotive Industry Association (AMIA)</span></a><span> announced that its Board of Directors appointed José Rogelio Garza Garza as Executive President of the Association, and </span><strong><span>he will take office on January 1, 2025.</span></strong></span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><span>According to information shared by AMIA, with this appointment, AMIA reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the position of the association and the automotive industry.</span></span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><span>“We are confident that Rogelio Garza’s experience in foreign trade, institutional relations, international negotiations and industrial processes will be essential to promote the agendas of the Mexican automotive industry,” AMIA wrote.</span></span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><span>José Rogelio Garza Garza has more than 30 years of experience in the public, private, chamber and foreign trade sectors; and has served as Undersecretary of Industry and Commerce of the </span><a href="https://www.gob.mx/se"><span>Ministry of Economy</span></a><span> during the administration of Enrique Peña Nieto, as well as various positions in several federal agencies.</span></span></p>
