Amazon is seeking to facilitate the inclusion of sellers who use its platform to offer their products, helping them with their logistics operations, specifically inventory, through its Easy Ship process . In addition, the e-commerce giant is also aiming for same-day delivery, to round out the customer experience.

Mariana Werneck , Amazon’s director of Direct Seller-to-Buyer Logistics for Latin America, announced that they will soon launch same-day delivery, a process through which sellers will determine within their own cities which regions they can apply this program to.

He added that this would increase sales conversion, as we will guarantee “same-day delivery to customers within Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and major cities in Mexico.”

Regarding Easy Ship, the specialist indicated that the goal is to offer a better experience to customers in order to increase sales.

“With the Easy Ship program, the inventory remains in the sellers’ warehouse, and we pick up those labeled packages. From there, they enter Amazon’s logistics network, and we are also responsible for the sale,” Werneck emphasized in an interview with T21 .

In this process, the seller only has to manage his own demand after receiving the purchase orders and preparing them for delivery.

At this point, Amazon takes over the logistics side so the seller can focus on other aspects of marketing their products.

“Amazon delivers very quickly; everything is managed by the seller. Delivery is fully trackable for customers in this program, and it offers a very competitive price,” he noted.

Regarding rates, he indicated that they will be reduced by an average of 16% in April, and emphasized that they will also cover returns, that is, reverse logistics.

“Our deliveries are 45% faster on average than when sellers make the delivery alone. So, it’s very good for increasing sales conversion. We have 600 DHL locations across Mexico for these drop-offs, which is ideal for SMEs,” he explained during Amazon Conecta 2025.

Mexico’s logistics market generated revenues of $174.9 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach $263.8 billion in 2030, growing 7.1% between 2025 and 2030, according to consulting firm Grand View Research , highlighting the importance of the logistics channels Amazon offers its customers.
