<p><span dir="auto">In November 2025, vehicle production and exports continued the downward trend recorded last October, due to a slowdown in the Mexican economy and tariffs imposed by the United States</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">According to the  </span><a href="https://www.inegi.org.mx/"><span dir="auto">National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi)</span></a><span dir="auto"> ,  </span><strong><span dir="auto">car manufacturing in Mexico during November was 322,205 units</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , a drop of 8.4% compared to the same month in 2024, when 351,586 cars were produced.</span></p>
<p><strong><span dir="auto">In the period January-November 2025, </span></strong> <strong><span dir="auto">three million 709 thousand 533 vehicles were manufactured</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , which represented a decrease of 1.5% compared to the same cycle of the previous year, according to the </span><strong><span dir="auto">Administrative Registry of the Automotive Industry of Light Vehicles (RAIAVL)</span></strong><span dir="auto"> .</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">In total,  </span><strong><span dir="auto">light trucks accounted for 77.2%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> of the total produced, with </span><strong><span dir="auto">2,862,230 units</span></strong><span dir="auto"> ; the remainder corresponded to automobiles.</span></p>

<p><span dir="auto">During that period, </span><a href="https://www.toyota.mx/"><span dir="auto">Toyota</span></a><span dir="auto">  was the brand with the largest increase in production, with a rise of 27.5 percent. <p><span dir="auto">Meanwhile, </span><strong><span dir="auto">exports of light vehicles manufactured in Mexico totaled 279,342 units in the eleventh month of 2025</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , a decline of 3.5% year-on-year, marking its third consecutive drop.</span></p>

<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter wp-image-663155 size-full" src="https://t21.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/EXPVEHNOV.jpg" sizes="(max-width: 751px) 100vw, 751px" srcset="https://t21.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/EXPVEHNOV.jpg 751w, https://t21.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/EXPVEHNOV-300x230.jpg 300w, https://t21.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/EXPVEHNOV-600x461.jpg 600w, https://t21.com.mx/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/EXPVEHNOV-150x115.jpg 150w" alt="" width="751" height="577" data-pin-no-hover="true" /></p>
<p><span dir="auto">Toyota, Ford, KIA and </span><a href="https://www.gm.com.mx/es/home.html"><span dir="auto">General Motors</span></a><span dir="auto"> were the brands with the most exports in the January-November period, with 30.1%, 11.7%, 5.8% and 1.6%, respectively.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">The Mexican automotive industry continues its negative trend since September and October 2025, reflecting a challenging environment for the sector towards the end of the year, stemming from a context of trade uncertainty, exacerbated by the protectionist policies of the United States.</span></p>
