Grupo Directo Express (number 10 in the Top 100 of Automotive Transport®) continues to consolidate its infrastructure, now with the addition of 125 53-foot composite boxes from Fruehauf from its subsidiary Lead Logistics, which will further boost its presence in the automotive market.

Involved in the transportation of auto parts, Lead Logistics is part of an industry that demands reliable, durable equipment prepared to meet the demands of a highly specialized supply chain.

Currently, Directo Express has a fleet of 2,100 trailers , of which 18% correspond to Fruehauf equipment.

The relationship between the two companies has been maintained since 2020 and, according to Lead Logistics, has been characterized by a high level of understanding and closeness in addressing their requirements.

As part of its fleet growth strategy, during 2026 Lead Logistics incorporated 125 Composite dry vans, which will be mainly destined for the automotive corridor between Mexico and the United States, contributing to the transfer of goods for one of the most relevant industries in the production chain of both countries.

The 53′ Composite dry vans are configured to provide reliability and strength to meet the demands of transporting auto parts along the Mexico-United States automotive corridor. Key features include the VANTRAAX pneumatic suspension system with Surelok, Bendix ABS brakes, extruded and cast corner pieces, 12″ side skirts, bolt-on bumper, Huck rivets on the rear frame dropouts, and a bolt-on skid plate.

As part of this business relationship, approximately 90 53′ Composite dry vans were also delivered under a leasing scheme through Fultra Rent , a sister company of Grupo Fultra and specializing in leasing solutions for the transportation sector, with whom the client maintains a business relationship of more than 12 years.
