The logistics and mobility services company, InDrive, is ready to launch its last-mile delivery and people mobility services in Quintana Roo, capitalizing on the region’s tourist nature.

In March 2024, Cancun became the 58th city with the presence of this company in Mexico, offering mobility services. However, its executives aim to extend this growth to the entire state.

This strategic move aims to meet the needs of users in one of the country’s most important areas, where tourism is a key economic driver, commented Kevin López, Business Development Specialist at InDrive for Mexico and Central America.

Additionally, he highlighted that 70% of users in Mexico are satisfied with last-mile delivery, while the goal is to achieve over 90% satisfaction, as is the case in Ecuador.

“We are working to offer insurance for the packages we deliver and constantly improve the quality of our services,” assured López Cano.

Diego Amezcua, Public Relations Manager at InDrive for Mexico and Central America, shared the company’s vision regarding quality improvement and understanding its needs.

He pointed out that during the COVID-19 pandemic, the delivery vertical experienced significant growth, becoming a fundamental pillar for the company. “Recently, we delivered equipment for over 50 thousand users registered on the app, reflecting our commitment to customer satisfaction and the expansion of our services,” Amezcua added.

To address safety concerns, InDrive has implemented strategies in its logistics, including the integration of a panic button and the option to share the journey within its app for people’s mobility.

These statements were made during the launch of the documentary “Inner Drive, connecting people with opportunities,” which revealed part of the company’s history.

Amezcua emphasized that InDrive currently operates in 46 countries and more than 749 cities, offering different verticals such as city-to-city trips, deliveries, freight, domestic services, and digital financial services.

With a user base exceeding 175 million downloads of its application, they seek to continue expanding their global presence and redefining logistics industry standards in Mexico and beyond.
