The program will open Route 17 , which will travel through the municipalities of Querétaro, Corregidora, and El Marqués over the course of a year. It will offer a mobile classroom equipped to provide literacy, primary, and secondary education services to youth and adults in communities with limited school infrastructure.

“I am deeply grateful to all the institutions and partners who have believed in this model from the beginning, as well as to those who are joining this effort for the first time today. Each route launched is possible thanks to a collective effort that demonstrates that educational mobility can transform communities,” said Alejandra Méndez, director of the Traxión Foundation.

According to figures from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) , the municipality of Querétaro has 153,582 people with educational gaps, of whom 16,639 cannot read or write; 97,413 did not complete primary school; and 39,530 did not finish secondary school.

At the event, basic education certificates were presented to graduates of the program, backpacks were distributed to new beneficiaries, and the mobile unit that will tour the communities was officially presented.

Since its creation in 2021, En Ruta por la Educación (On the Road to Education) has toured 11 Mexican states and has benefited more than 63,000 people with the program . It has also awarded 16,449 basic education certificates in coordination with the INEA (National Institute of Statistics and Census).
