<p><span>The  </span><a href="https://www.caintra.org.mx/"><span>Nuevo León Chamber of Manufacturing Industries (CAINTRA)</span></a><span> reported that, during March, most manufacturing diffusion indicators showed a decline, marking </span><strong><span>five consecutive months of decline.</span></strong></p>
<p><span>However, </span><strong><span>CAINTRA reported</span></strong><span> that, compared to February, there was a slight upturn in some production indices, such as new orders, physical production volume and capacity utilization, where increases were recorded, reaching </span><strong><span> 45.5</span></strong><span> , </span><strong><span>46.5</span></strong><span> and </span><strong><span>48.1 points</span></strong><span> , respectively, although they remain below the expansion threshold of </span><strong><span>50 points</span></strong><span> .</span></p>
<p><span>Regarding foreign trade, the </span><strong><span>export and import indicators</span></strong><span> also showed slight progress, reaching </span><strong><span>46.4</span></strong><span> and </span><strong><span>44.5</span></strong><span> points, but still below the level of expansion.</span></p>
<p><span>In contrast, inventories maintained their upward trend, reaching </span><strong><span>51.5 points</span></strong><span> and consolidating in the expansion zone during the last </span><strong><span>two months</span></strong><span> .</span></p>

<p><span>Finally, regarding obstacles for businesses, the </span><strong><span>political landscape</span></strong><span> was positioned as the main challenge, although with a smaller proportion of companies affected at </span><strong><span>50.8 percent</span></strong><span> .</span></p>
<p><span>Meanwhile, the adverse international environment and the shortage of trained personnel increased, being reported by </span><strong><span>39.3%</span></strong><span> and </span><strong><span>29.5%</span></strong><span> of companies, respectively.</span></p>
