The environmental commitment of companies involved in the trucking industry is not limited to developing more efficient vehicles or incorporating new technologies. It also includes actions aimed at preserving public spaces and strengthening their relationship with the communities where they operate.

Under this perspective, International Motors Mexico announced the adoption of a green area of ​​approximately 187 square meters , located on Avenida Homero, in the Miguel Hidalgo district of Mexico City, in front of Casa International, headquarters of its corporate offices for Mexico and Latin America.

The initiative includes regular cleaning, gardening, conservation and maintenance work on the median strip, with the purpose of contributing to the care of this urban space and improving the conditions of its immediate surroundings.

This action is part of “ Huella International ”, a strategy that brings together environmental and social projects driven by the company in the communities where it has a presence, with the intention of progressively involving employees and partners.

The adoption of the median strip also adds to other initiatives of the company, such as Bosque International , through which it seeks to broaden the scope of its sustainability actions.

In this sense, International proposes a vision that combines the development of mobility solutions, technological innovation and operational efficiency with projects focused on environmental protection and community participation.

Rafael Alvarenga, president of Commercial Operations for Latin America at International Motors, pointed out that the company’s responsibility must extend beyond the products and services it offers to the market.

“ At International, we understand that our responsibility goes beyond the solutions we implement. Huella International represents our commitment to transforming this vision into concrete actions that contribute to environmental stewardship and the well-being of the communities we are part of. By adopting this median strip, we want to contribute to the area surrounding Casa International and continue building, together with our ecosystem, a cleaner and safer future for everyone ,” he stated.

With this initiative, the company seeks to continue its environmental and social responsibility strategy through urban conservation actions, although the statement does not specify the duration of the maintenance commitment or the resources allocated to the project.
