TOLUCA, EDOMEX.- A little more than two years after its inauguration, the Toluca branch of Grupo TAB adds Mercedes-Benz Buses to its product portfolio , strengthening its operation and adding 15 service bays dedicated 100% to buses, reaching 40 service bays for trucks, tractor-trailers and buses of the Daimler Group .

Daniela Bastida, CEO of Grupo TAB, explained that with the addition of the bus brand, efficient and sustainable mobility solutions in the country are expanding . She also highlighted the efforts of the work team that have contributed to materializing the expansion of the product portfolio.

“We want to provide our customers with comprehensive mobility solutions with personalized services, accompanied by financial support from Daimler Truck Financial Services ,” Bastida explained.

The incorporation of the new brand represented an expansion of approximately four thousand square meters , which will be ready by the end of the year and will house the 15 bays mentioned.

With more than 26 years as a distributor of the Daimler Group brands, Grupo TAB has focused on customer service and providing all the facilities to operators to simplify maintenance of units, whether cargo or passenger.

“Our distributor in Toluca is equipped with a display area, a service workshop and an operator’s room with everything necessary, which is part of Grupo TAB’s philosophy of offering a complete experience to customers,” said the businesswoman.

He also told T21 that the Toluca agency becomes the third in the Group to have Mercedes-Benz buses. “We expanded our installed capacity, and we also strengthened services outside the facilities with mobile workshops, rescue vehicles, a team of technicians and an investment of more than 25 million pesos in spare parts, to be able to meet the immediate needs of our clients,” he indicated.

He stressed the training and development of technicians, which was one of the issues that required the most attention, since the integrity of the units is in their hands . “However, the training was not limited to technicians, but to the team in general, with the objective of not only selling spare parts, but offering a comprehensive solution to transportation,” he said.

Bastida explained that during the remainder of the year, the Toluca dealership will place 50 more units, which is in line with Grupo TAB’s objectives and indicators. “We would like to have greater growth because we know that there is a great need for attention to the vehicle fleet and this requires having an adequate installed capacity, this leads us to have a great opportunity for growth,” commented the general director of Grupo TAB.
