<p><span dir="auto">According to the </span><a href="https://www.gob.mx/attrapi"><span dir="auto">Agency for Trains and Integrated Public Transport (ATTRAPI)</span></a><span dir="auto"> , the proposal submitted by the consortium was deemed satisfactory, as it meets the legal, technical and economic requirements requested.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">The offer from Comsa, Infraestructuras, Regiomontana de Construcción y Servicios, and Vise was </span><strong><span dir="auto">for 3,411,823,240.22 pesos</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , the lowest among the five that registered for this competition.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">Meanwhile, the consortium made up of </span><a href="https://grupoidinsa.com/"><span dir="auto"> Impulsora de Desarrollo Integral</span></a><span dir="auto"> ,  </span><a href="https://jaguaringenieros.mx/"><span dir="auto">Jaguar Ingenieros Constructores</span></a><span dir="auto"> , Proacon México, Construcciones Aldesem,  </span><a href="http://aldesa.com.mx/"><span dir="auto">Aldesa Construcciones</span></a><span dir="auto"> , Coalvi, Aldesa Construcciones Polska, China Civil Engineering and Construction Corporation  </span><strong><span dir="auto">submitted the highest bid, with 5,331,449,916.80 pesos</span></strong><span dir="auto"> .</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">Meanwhile,  </span><strong><span dir="auto">Gami Ingeniería e Instalaciones</span></strong><span dir="auto"> ,  </span><a href="https://www.azvi.es/"><span dir="auto">Azvi</span></a><span dir="auto">  and  </span><a href="https://construccionesurales.mx/"><span dir="auto">Construcciones Urales</span></a><span dir="auto">  proposed four billion 333 million 039 thousand 587.64 pesos.</span></p>
<p><strong><span dir="auto">Constructora de Proyectos Viales</span></strong><span dir="auto"> ,  </span><a href="https://www.ohla-group.com/"><span dir="auto">Obrascon Huarte Lain </span></a><span dir="auto"> and </span><a href="https://www.grupocaabsa.com/"><span dir="auto"> Caabsa</span></a><span dir="auto">  submitted a proposal for four billion 257 million 351 thousand 054.91 pesos.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">For their part,  </span><strong><span dir="auto">La Peninsular Compañía Constructora</span></strong><span dir="auto"> ,  </span><a href="https://www.grupo-sef.com/"><span dir="auto">Construcciones y Maquinaria SEF</span></a><span dir="auto"> , Alcance Total, Proveedora de Materiales del Norte and Constructora Milos had an offer of three billion 707 million 728 thousand 516.27 pesos.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">This project </span><strong><span dir="auto">includes stations located in Apaseo El Grande, Celaya, Cortázar, Salamanca and Irapuato</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , as well as the rectification of the track area of ​​the existing passenger station in Irapuato and reconfiguration of the freight yard until the effective operation of both.</span></p>

<p><span dir="auto">The contract signing will take place on August 22, while </span><strong><span dir="auto">construction work will begin on August 26</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , with a completion period of 906 calendar days, concluding on April 11, 2028.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">According to the ruling document, the consortium led by </span><a href="https://www.comsa.com/"><span dir="auto">Comsa Infraestructuras</span></a><span dir="auto"> failed to meet the requested requirements.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">The Saltillo–Nuevo Laredo railway consists of a 395.77 km long railway line. It will have a non-electrified double track, as well as proposed stations and stops in Derramadero, Saltillo Centro, Ramos Arizpe, García, and Santa Catarina, Monterrey Centro, Las Torres, Bustamante, Anáhuac, and Nuevo Laredo Centro. The trains will operate at a maximum speed of 200 kilometers per hour (km/h).</span></p>
