<p><span>This is an initiative that is beginning to establish itself as a gateway for </span><strong><span>new customers</span></strong><span> , while strengthening the trust of those who already believe in this brand.</span></p>
<blockquote><p><span>“For us, retail has this duality, those two positive aspects of the used vehicle model: driving the sale of new vehicles, but also bringing Scania vehicles closer to customers who today tell us: ‘You know what? I want a Scania, but I can&#8217;t afford a new one,’” </span><strong><span>Manuel Aranda</span></strong><span> , Director of Retail at </span><span><a href="https://www.scania.com/mx/es/home.html">Scania Mexico</a> , told T21 </span><em><span>.</span></em></p></blockquote>
<p><span>With a projected useful life of at least </span><strong><span>12 years</span></strong><span> , these vehicles maintain their operating value even after passing into the hands of a second owner.</span></p>
<p><span>For Scania, this not only means expanding its reach, but also giving a boost to the new segment.</span></p>
<blockquote><p><span>&#8220;We&#8217;re very happy with this business model we recently launched. We believe it will greatly help us reach those customers who also want a Scania,&#8221; Aranda added.</span></p></blockquote>
<p><span>The executive noted that the difference lies in the </span><strong><span>support and attention</span></strong><span>given to the product, regardless of whether it is new or pre-owned.</span></p>

<blockquote><p><span>&#8220;It will truly have the same care we put into new and used products, because all customers are important to Scania,&#8221; he assured.</span></p></blockquote>
<p><span>Now, Aranda explained, customers who purchase a </span><strong><span>used car</span></strong><span> no longer do so through an unknown third party, but directly with Scania, which increases confidence in the transaction thanks to the brand&#8217;s backing.</span></p>
<p><span>In his words, this strategy strengthens </span><strong><span>Scania&#8217;s commercial offering</span></strong><span> and opens an entry channel for those who, for various reasons, have not yet decided on a new model. They can now begin their relationship with the brand with a pre-owned model and eventually make the jump.</span></p>
