Lorena Martínez, CEO of Delectrico, explained that the company has been focused exclusively on electric mobility for about five years and operates under an integrated model that includes three divisions: Electric Energy , focused on charging infrastructure; Delectrico Automotive , dedicated to the marketing of electric vehicles; and Delectrico Service , focused on after-sales service and technical support.

In the automotive segment, Martínez pointed out that Geely Farison’s arrival in Mexico is in partnership with Delectrico, as part of a new proposal for electric commercial vehicles.

“It is a new product that brings many benefits to the Mexican market and we are truly confident that it will help to increase the adoption of electric vehicles in Mexico,” commented Martínez.

Julio Hernández , head of sales at Delectrico, explained that the company serves as the national master dealer for Geely Farison commercial vehicles. The flagship product of this partnership is the Super Van , a fully electric vehicle with a range of 380 kilometers , designed from the ground up as an electric vehicle and not as a conversion of an internal combustion engine.

Hernández explained that the vehicle incorporates advanced safety systems , including front and side radars, proximity sensors and lane change alerts, as well as integrating artificial intelligence to measure the trajectory of surrounding vehicles, even when there are no visible lines on the pavement.

“It is one of the brands that prioritizes operator safety in this segment,” he emphasized.

The model is available in a cargo version, with a capacity of 13.2 cubic meters and up to 1.2 tons , as well as in a passenger version, with a capacity of between 15 and 17 passengers , in addition to a variant for refrigerated transport.

Delectrico reported that it has an initial inventory of 100 units for cargo and 100 for passenger transport, in addition to 40 units of a smaller model.

In terms of infrastructure, Hernández highlighted that the company can offer fast charging in 20 to 25 minutes , supported by its energy division and a national network of 22 service points , originally focused on supporting tractor-trailers, which will allow it to serve customers in different regions of the country.

From Geely Farizon, Jeremy Sun , the company’s country manager in Mexico, highlighted the collaboration with Delectrico and Mexico’s role in the brand’s strategy. He noted that Farizon has witnessed the development of green logistics projects in the country and considers Delectrico a strategic partner for promoting electric transportation in the Mexican market.

This work complements Delectrico’s ongoing efforts in decarbonization over the past few years. In this context, the company has collaborated with Transportes Marva (ranked fourth in the Top 100 of Automotive Transport® ) on the design of circuits for incorporating 100% electric tractor-trailers, with the goal of testing and scaling up these solutions in real-world freight transport operations.
