<p><strong><span dir="auto">Mexican, Canadian, and African airlines </span></strong><strong><span dir="auto">saw growth in international cargo traffic</span></strong><span dir="auto"> during the January-November period of last year compared to the same period in 2024, according to data from the </span><a href="https://www.gob.mx/afac"><span dir="auto">Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC)</span></a><span dir="auto"> .</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">According to the organization, </span><strong><span dir="auto">Mexican firms obtained an increase of 18.5%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , going from 164,817 tons in that period of 2024 to 195,355 tons in 2025.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">Meanwhile, </span><strong><span dir="auto">African companies transported 7,633 tons in the first 11 months of 2025</span></strong><span dir="auto"> compared to 7,225 tons in the same period of 2024, which meant an increase of 5.6% year-on-year.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">AFAC stated that </span><strong><span dir="auto">Canadian companies moved 4,911 tons from January to November 2025</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , a growth of 496.4% over the same period in 2024, when they handled 823 tons.</span></p>

<p><span dir="auto">Regarding the declines in air cargo transport, the AFAC highlighted that </span><strong><span dir="auto">Asian airlines registered a decrease of 12.1%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , the largest of all regions, going from 136,922 tons in January-November 2024 to 120,371 tons in the same period of 2025.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">In second place are </span><strong><span dir="auto">the US companies, with a decrease of 10.7%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , ending the reference period with 105,765 tons compared to the 118,385 tons they managed to move from January to November 2024.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">The report from the agency detailed that </span><strong><span dir="auto">European shipments fell by 8.6%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , going from 156,477 tons in 2024 to 142,952 tons in the first 11 months of last year.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">In the period up to November 2025, airlines in </span><strong><span dir="auto">Central and South America experienced a decrease of 4.3%</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , with 23,411 tons moved.</span></p>
