<p><span dir="auto">Starting next June, </span><strong><a href="https://www.volaris.com/"><span dir="auto">Volaris</span></a><span dir="auto"> will begin operating 35 new routes</span></strong><span dir="auto"> that will strengthen connectivity in the context of the 2026 World Cup, and will facilitate access to cities with high tourist, cultural and business potential in Mexico and the United States.</span></p>
<blockquote><p><span dir="auto">“This expansion allows us to respond to both tourist demand and the need for more agile connectivity between regions, perfecting our itineraries and strengthening our network so that more and more passengers can enjoy an accessible, efficient and rewarding experience,” said Holger Blankenstein, Executive Vice President, Commercial and Operations at Volaris.</span></p></blockquote>
<p><span dir="auto">During the </span><strong><span dir="auto">Tianguis Turístico Acapulco 2026</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , it was mentioned that with this, the airline </span><strong><span dir="auto">will strengthen its presence in its  </span><em><span dir="auto">hubs </span></em><span dir="auto"> of Guadalajara and Tijuana</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , and will offer greater connectivity to and from key cities such as Puebla, Querétaro, Aguascalientes and San Luis Potosí, significantly expanding travel options for the central and Bajío regions, fostering a network of short and efficient routes that allow passengers to choose different mobility schemes according to their needs.</span></p>
<p><span dir="auto">He detailed that </span><strong><span dir="auto">11 of the new routes expand connectivity with cities in the United States</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , including Houston, Los Angeles, New York (Newark), Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, Orlando, San Antonio, Chicago, Detroit and Salt Lake City.</span></p>
<blockquote><p><span dir="auto">“The collaboration with airlines like Volaris, a strategic ally in strengthening air connectivity, has been key to connecting Mexico more effectively with its many tourist destinations and with our main source market, the United States,” said Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, Secretary of Tourism for the Mexican government.</span></p></blockquote>
<p><span dir="auto">Holger Blankenstein emphasized that in an environment of significant challenges in the industry worldwide, Volaris &#8220;continues its efforts to strengthen connectivity, boost tourism and democratize the skies.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><strong><span dir="auto">In 2025, Volaris carried 30,995,000 passengers</span></strong><span dir="auto"> , a 5.2% year-over-year increase. Total revenue reached $3.038 billion, a 3.3% decrease compared to 2024.</span></p>
