
In Mexico, the auto parts market is supported by a fleet that already exceeds one million units , the maintenance of which represents a value of billions of pesos annually, according to Eric Blasco, commercial director of Apymsa , one of the largest auto parts chains.
It’s a vital sector for the productivity of companies that depend on their fleet of vehicles to move goods and people, and where each component can define the pace of operations.
But the challenges are no small feat. Adding to the pressure to reduce costs is the entry of auto parts that don’t always meet quality standards. While they may prove to be cheaper, they can lead to costly failures: from roadblocks to recalls that disrupt the supply chain.
In the face of competition, the difference lies not only in price, but also in the provider’s ability to guarantee availability, technical support, financing, training, and response times nationwide.
In this scenario, Apymsa , which has nationwide coverage and standardized prices for its customers in any workshop, seeks to go beyond selling spare parts.

With this focus, Apymsa will hold its first Business Mobility Summit on August 15, 2025 , a meeting designed as a value-added space for key clients from different segments: companies with their own fleets, large transporters, and passenger operators.
Around 100 guests are expected to participate, including companies such as Lala , Castores and Estrella Blanca .
The program will address two major industry challenges: fleet productivity and profitability. Participating experts include Macario Schettino , who will discuss financial strategies for vehicle renewal; Roberto Aguilar , who will discuss financial protection in the face of fuel volatility; and José Gutiérrez , who will share key indicators for smart spare parts management.
One of the key moments will be a panel with Apymsa clients , who will present firsthand the challenges of availability and profitability, as well as the solutions they have found in areas such as lockers and maintenance.
This direct feedback seeks to generate an open dialogue that allows for identifying areas for improvement throughout the value chain.
The Summit will also be the stage for the presentation of new product lines, such as TermoFuel HD , OEM-quality sensors highly sought after by customers, and the Safety family , designed for operations that demand high safety standards.
In addition, familiar pieces from the portfolio will be on display , allowing attendees, many of whom hold management or decision-making positions, to have direct contact with the quality of the products.
