Present in Mexico since 1994, Scania has been a benchmark in the bus market, but in the cargo segment for almost a decade, it has positioned itself among transport companies, with a fleet of trucks exceeding eight thousand units.
In response to this, Scania Mexico announced the launch of its new line of pre-owned vehicles, a business unit designed to meet the needs of the domestic market in a professional, flexible manner, with the support of the brand.
The objective of the offer is to evolve the commercial proposal to reach more customers and strengthen its presence in the national trucking market.
Through Scania Seminuevos , customers will be able to access an exclusive marketplace to learn about the commercial offering of used trucks, both Scania and multi-brand, with rigorous inspection processes from the brand that guarantee their mechanical condition.
This business model, proven for more than three decades globally and six years in Latin America , is now integrated into Scania’s solutions portfolio in Mexico, offering a safe alternative for those seeking quality and reliability on the road.
“We want more customers to be able to access the world of Scania, with options tailored to their needs and the support of a brand that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and service,” said Alejandro Mondragón, president and CEO of Scania Mexico.
The new line includes six purchase options, including: Trade-In (trade-in of current truck on account), Buyback (repurchase), direct sale , consignment resale, and reconditioned recovered units . Each scheme aims to facilitate access to a reliable vehicle with flexible commercial terms.
The operation begins at the San Luis Potosí branch, and the goal is to expand this offering nationwide through the Scania network of 17 branches in strategic areas of the country, as well as through its digital channel.
As a presentation, a used car fair will be held on June 4 and 5 at the Scania branch in San Luis Potosí, where those interested can learn about the available offerings and receive personalized attention.
In addition to the new sales channel, Scania is strengthening this initiative with a network of more than 490 trained technicians, supported by a new Training Center in Querétaro, and an after-sales ecosystem that guarantees quality in every service.
