Ryder Mexico , a subsidiary of Ryder Systems, Inc. , announced the opening of a new warehousing and distribution complex in the Monterrey Metropolitan Area. The facility adds 54,000 square meters (m²) to the company’s largest logistics hub in the country and represents the company’s sixth facility in Nuevo León.
“This new investment represents an important step in our growth strategy in the northern region of Mexico and reinforces our ability to offer the operational flexibility that our customers require,” said Ricardo Álvarez, Vice President and General Manager of Ryder Mexico.
The complex includes a 21,000 m² multi-client warehouse with more than 25 loading docks and a 33,000 m² yard for inventory and handling of oversized products . It has the capacity to receive and dispatch up to 100 cargo units per day.
In addition, the infrastructure complies with international certifications such as the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT), Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) and the Manufacturing, Maquiladora and Export Services Industry (IMMEX) program.
For his part, Carlos Algraves, Director of Operations Group for the Northern Zone, highlighted that the complex joins the network of six facilities in Nuevo León. With this addition, the company continues to expand its infrastructure and technology to serve sectors such as automotive, industrial, consumer goods, and retail in Mexico and North America.
Ryder’s investment in Monterrey responds to the increased logistical demand in the region . Its proximity to the US-Mexico border promotes the integration of supply chains in both markets.
According to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi), industrial activity in Nuevo León registered an annual growth of 4.6% during the first half of 2025, which positions this federal entity as the national leader in contributing to the country’s industrial growth.
