In a country like Mexico, where entrepreneurship or micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are the foundation of the economy, accessing tools that facilitate business growth is a challenge.
Given this situation, Renault has decided to support small and medium-sized businesses with the Boost Your Business program , an initiative that combines vehicles designed for commercial needs with affordable financing plans.
“We know that accessing credit is often difficult, with high monthly payments and financial procedures being an obstacle. With this program, we seek to eliminate those barriers. We want entrepreneurs to see us as a strategic partner, not just a vehicle supplier,” explained Nuria Rapalo, Director of Communications at Renault Mexico.
One of the main attractions of the program is access to flexible financing through Renault Financial Services, with specific plans so entrepreneurs can purchase a vehicle without affecting their liquidity through preferential prices and rates.
On the other hand, he assured that they are guaranteeing immediate availability of the vehicles.
Commitment to electromobility in the last mile
Mexico is taking steps toward the electrification of transportation , and Renault wants to lead this change.
“In 2024, states like Nuevo León registered more than 5,500 electric and hybrid vehicles sold, making it the third-largest state in sales after Mexico City and the State of Mexico,” Rapalo said.
The brand has worked with large companies like DHL and Mercado Libre to electrify their fleets, but it also seeks to bring these options to small businesses.
“The operating cost of an electric vehicle is up to 80% lower than that of a combustion-powered vehicle, so it’s not only a greener option, but also a more cost-effective one in the long run,” the executive stated.
On the other hand, Renault not only sells vehicles, but also offers specialized after-sales service , that is, if an entrepreneur needs to adapt their vehicle for an ambulance or a specific business.
“We also train drivers to get the most out of their vehicles, especially electric ones,” Rapalo said.
He also mentioned that Renault’s fleet team has been restructured to offer more personalized service throughout the entire process, from purchase to training, regardless of the number of vehicles purchased.
The brand invited entrepreneurs to visit its more than 80 points of sale in Mexico to boost their business.
Renault has developed a range of vehicles specifically designed for the needs of entrepreneurs, which is why it offers the Renault Kangoo, Oroch, Master Diesel and Master E-Tech in this program .
