PACCAR Mexico recognizes the best performance of its dealers

SANTIAGO, NUEVO LEÓN – The cold atmosphere of this magical town that filled the surrounding mountains with clouds and breeze, was diminished on the night of celebration and recognition of the Kenworth DAF dealers , where cheers and applause for more than an hour accompanied the awarding of the best performances of the business groups that represent these brands.

After awarding the Dealers in nine areas and giving recognition to the records achieved in four different categories, the Dealer of the Year 2024 award was revealed. According to Alejandro Novoa, general director of PACCAR Mexico, “this award is based on a solid focus on the business, well-structured investment plans, attention to detail and constant monitoring of financial indicators, which are essential to guarantee quality and operational efficiency, in addition to customer service, which is established as a priority, building long-lasting relationships.”

In Novoa’s view, this behavior allows dealers to strengthen brand leadership and is the engine that drives collective success.

The 2024 Dealer of the Year award went to Kenworth DAF del Este , which is part of the KREI consortium, which has a presence as a Kenworth DAF dealer in Tehuacán (Puebla), Córdoba, Orizaba, Veracruz, Coatzacoalcos (Veracruz), Oaxaca (Oaxaca), and Tuxtla Gutiérrez (Chiapas).

In addition to the Dealer of the Year, where the shortlist included Kenworth DAFdel Sur , Kenworth DAF del Este and Kenworth DAF CDMX , awards were given in various areas of performance.

The award for best performance in the DAF Consolidation category considered the conquest of new clients for this brand, as well as the transmission of values such as efficiency, visibility and maneuverability of these products. The shortlist was made up of Kenworth DAF Metropolitanos, Kenworth DAF Tractor Trucks from Monterrey and Kenworth DAF Tractor Trucks from La Laguna . The winner was Kenworth DAF Metropolitanos.

In 2024, said Juan Leonardo Fiorentini, Deputy General Commercial Director of PACCAR Mexico, in addition to sales volume, the year will be remembered for having achieved adequate after-sales support , highlighting the key indicators of customer service and support.

The shortlist in this category was made up of Kenworth DAF from the East, Kenworth DAF from the South and Kenworth DAF Metropolitanos , where Kenworth DAF from the South emerged victorious .

Alejandro Novoa emphasized that to maintain market leadership, an adequate level of after-sales service must be achieved with the dealer network. Therefore, the best service performance not only considered increasing service points, but also implemented a departmental structure focused on customer service, which translated into its sales performance indicators in rescues and end-customer support.

The shortlist in this category was made up of Kenworth DAF Metropolitanos, Kenworth DAF del Sur and Kenworth DAF del Este , where the winner was Kenworth DAF del Este.

In terms of spare parts , 2024 offered a positive performance with sales of 435 million dollars (mdd) in sales to the public, while purchases from PACCAR Parts were made up of 304 million dollars, “these achievements not only reinforce our leadership position, but also highlight the vital role of our dealers in the continued success of PACCAR Mexico,” said Juan Leonardo Fiorentini.

The shortlist in this category was made up of Kenworth DAF from Michoacán, Kenworth DAF from Centro and Kenworth DAF from Bajío, with Kenworth DAF from Centro, belonging to the BACE corporation , being the winner .

An essential point is the participation of financial companies, “the growth of our clients’ operations is supported by a financing plan that adapts to their needs, both for trucks and tractor-trailers, where the proximity to these clients and the flexibility of their programs are crucial for the success of our brand with more than 5,500 financed units, representing 39% of sales in 2024,” Alejandro Novoa highlighted.

The shortlist in this category was made up of Kenworth DAF from Michoacán, Kenworth DAF Tractor Trucks from Torreón and Kenworth DAF Tractor Trucks from Chihuahua , with Kenworth DAF from Michoacán being the winner.

The best performance at Paclease Mexicana considered the behavior of the market with a displacement of six thousand 300 units in the country, which according to the company’s figures, placed them as the market leader, “this allowed a 13% share in Kenworth sales and 23% in DAF,” said Juan Leonardo Fiorentini.

The shortlist in this category was made up of Kenworth DAF Tractor Trucks from Monterrey, Kenworth DAF from Bajío and Kenworth DAF Metropolitanos. The winner was Kenworth DAF from Bajío.

“Through the combination of proper management, with a focus and execution of strategies that generate profitability, the dealership that won the award for best management performance achieved high levels in financial indicators and opened the largest number of points of sale, contributing greatly to the expansion of territorial coverage in the network and generating the highest investment indicator in 2024,” said Alejandro Novoa.

The shortlist in this category was made up of Kenworth DAF from the Northwest, Kenworth DAF from Jalisco and Kenworth DAF from the East, with the winner being Kenworth DAF from the East.

In the Class 8 Heavy Trucks best-performing category , the winner in this category grew sales by more than 13% of the industry, not considering the sales it also added through fleets.

The shortlist in this case was made up of Kenworth DAF del Este, Kenworth DAF del Sur and Kenworth DAF CDMX. The winner was Kenworth DAF CDMX.

In the best performance category in tractor trucks, the brand displaced 11,400 units, growing 19% compared to 2023 and having a difference of 12 percentage points compared to the closest competitor, “thus reiterating our leadership position in this segment, and where the winner of this recognition participated in the sales programs and exceeded its unit programming and retail sales goals, also maintaining a strong presence and participation of both brands throughout its territory,” said Alejandro Novoa.

The shortlist in this case was made up of Kenworth DAF del Río Bravo, Kenworth DAF Tractors from Monterrey and Kenworth DAF del Bajío, a title that was won by Kenworth DAF del Río Bravo.

In terms of overall Class 8 performance, the dealership that obtained the best result in a market that displaced more than 40 thousand units, had results with the best combination of tractor-trailer and heavy-duty truck sales, with the best overall performance.
