DAF fleet management will add a new digital tool. PACCAR Mexico announced the availability of PACCAR Connect , a connectivity platform that will allow companies to monitor the performance of their units, operators , and logistics operations in real time.
Available on the XF , CF and XB models , the solution seeks to facilitate remote monitoring of the fleet through a web portal or mobile navigation , the company detailed in a statement.
Features include GPS tracking, geofencing, driver alerts (such as harsh braking, speeding, or revving), as well as reports on fuel consumption, mileage, engine hours, and maintenance status.
The system also incorporates road and property safety alerts , such as collision risk, ignition off, or vehicle fault codes, allowing for anticipation of potential incidents on the road or in the yard, the statement explained.
In addition to its focus on operational control, PACCAR Connect generates automated reports that help identify opportunities for improvement in both unit operations and personnel performance.
With this tool, PACCAR Mexico joins the industry trend of integrating technology that allows carriers to make data-driven decisions and optimize their logistics costs.
