The Ministry of Economy (SE) , the National Export Award Foundation , together with the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (Comce) presented the National Export Award, which since 1993 represents the highest recognition granted to companies, Mexican institutions and organizations that stand out for their excellence in international trade.
During the event, Valentín Diez Morodo, honorary president of Comce, highlighted the importance of this award as a reflection of the entrepreneurial spirit that characterizes Mexican exporters.
“Each of the winners represents the spirit of tenacity that has led Mexico to consolidate itself as a global export power. All of them have raised the name of Mexico and have contributed to its economic growth thanks to the increase and diversification of sales of their goods and services abroad,” he commented.
He also recalled that, in 2023, the country was positioned 9th in the world ranking of exports and 9th place in attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) , thereby confirming that Mexico is a leader in the international economic panorama.
For his part, Sergio Contreras Pérez, executive president of Comce, highlighted that in an increasingly competitive and challenging world, the winners represent national pride and a role model for all those who aspire to internationalize their products and services.
Likewise, Contreras Pérez pointed out that the National Export Award is an economic policy tool that not only recognizes the best, but also promotes an export culture that inspires entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized companies to innovate to open new markets and expand supply. from the country.
